If you buy new gears make sure you get a rebuild kit with new bearings/seals. Also do yourself a favor and get a toyota pinion seal. The ones that come with the kits arent always the best. Axle seaLs would be cheap insurance for up front.

if you just buy the gears, have Chris set them up, he's done my truck twice now and its been solid

If that is not solid cell foam, it will absorb and hold water for the next 300 years. If you can trim it easily and push your finger in it, you definitely want to get that out of there as it's going to hold water like a big dog. If you go near the coast and salt water moister gets absorbed for a couple days even worse. I know it's unsolicited advice but just trying to keep a bunch of ass pain off your back. cheers.

Well damn. There goes that idea. I did not think about it absorbing water. Appreciate it.
    :fistbump:

Maybe I can find some thin rubber to put up in there.

Good Morning SATX! Boy I had some strange dream too! I was having a really messy cheeseburger with Jennifer Anniston for some reason, and all of the sudden she sees Little Big Red with some huge ass 50" balloon tires, and starts laughing at me! She says we can't see each other anymore....

    (You know who you are!)

Going to fix a toilet today, then work in the yard to get that out of my system.... meantime :pccoffee:

Watching underworld on NGC and shaking my work computer mouse occasionally so I appear active... I believe my stimulus check hit today, but my banks mobile banking is down. I imagine everyone is trying to check their account.

Haha. That's a good one. They make a mouse shaker you can buy on Amazon for like 20 bucks. Too cheap...would rather just sit here.
Didn't know there was such a thing.

Just finished scraping all that foam out of my wheel well. Goes in a lot easier than it comes out: fun fact.
