OVTune 3.5L Tacoma Supercharger and Twin Turbo Systems

My hospital just announced today that people are going to start getting furloughed, so here I am, an actually essential employee, wondering how strong my position is now lol

 

@OVTune not sure if mentioned or asked, but any chance of you guys making a turbo kit for the current gen Lexus GS 350? Saw you guys did a tune for the GS F, pretty cool.

Didn’t they say that like a year ago and no one has seen anything other than the one picture from an event where they didn’t even have a prototype?

 

Well we have to get through the first batch... lol. I don't have a timeline on a 2nd batch

 

That’s fair. I guess I just assumed they were all spoken for or you expected them to disappear in the first few min after release. Guess I’ll just keep my fingers crossed the country gets is shit together shortly so I can go back to being financially irresponsible again.

 

I have not started taking any names, deposits, etc on the first batch.
That will be probably closer to this weekend when that happens.

You guys, if you want to, can honor your current list on this forum, but I have no official list.

 

How many kits do you think you will make available in the first batch?

 

First to pay is first to play, like with any business that sells things.

 

So I looked at their website shortly after posting that and the only things they had on there for the tacoma are upgraded coils that they claim will add 20-30 hp and a catch can.

 

30 hp from coils? Sounds just like the places claiming 15 from a CAI

 

Neither of which are available yet by the way.

 

Toyotas OEM coils are well known as the best in the business.
Even cheepo yaris coils able to handle 250+HP individually before spark decay.

gaining 30 HP with coils? Call me skeptical.

 

Maybe they are able to produce jig-a-watts

 

here they just furloughed 300 from local hospital

 

I'm a cardiovascular tech, so I've been getting reassured that I'll be fine

 

Damn. I can't even fathom doubting my job security (critical care RN).

 

It's one of those things where logically, you know that you're not in danger, but you can't help but wonder anyway lol plus, one of the other hospitals would snap me up same day if it came down to it, so...I guess I was worried for nothing

 

Thats good to hear. I will say they have cut all overtime. We will see what happens when "the surge" hits on the 18th.

 

Yeah we're getting limited to 40hrs per week, although my team usually works more than that since we're pulling extra call for our sister hospital. All their techs left a few months ago due to shitty pay
