I've got a Oneup Components Fox axle I've been meaning to unload. Anyone fancy an orange axle to bling up their Fox fork? Will fit basically any Fox fork that is boost.

    Hard pass.

    Yep, great suggestions.

Watch and learn, then buy the Commencal or Santa Cruz.

I just bought a 175 Transfer myself. I have a 125 Transfer already so I know that 175mm will be even better. Its been 2+ years and my original seat post has been 100%

I’m a supporter of Santa Cruz for their lifetime warranties on frames, trail building support, and that they use LBS’s. Also, their donations of top end custom bikes for raffles to raise money for things is also pretty cool. I know the commencal is direct to consumer and offers more bang for the buck, but they cannot compete with the support that you get from your LBS or Santa Cruz themselves. I’ve heard of people breaking commencal frames and waiting weeks or months for a replacement or parts, and the same problem with Santa Cruz will lead to about 4-7 days off the bike. Just my .02

Same actually haha plus it’s more fun that way. I popped off a log over this big rock a few weeks ago and it felt amazing haha

edit: of course I probably remember it being a lot cooler than it probably was from a 3rd person pov haha

The jeep road part that separates upper and lower porcupine?! Or are you talking about kokopelli trail?

The hardtail is my commuter since my ride to work usually involves about 3 miles of easy singletrack, that's why I'm considering going rigid. I am quite torn about it though. Part of me loves the simplicity of a fully rigid bike (maybe go SS too?!), but it's nice to have the suspension fork when I wanna use it for a bigger ride. I recently added a 150mm dropper, and I'm debating getting a 27.5+ wheelset so I can swap things up for a different feel.
