I'd have more success asking for a pile of hookers and cocaine.... still the same beating though.

This bad boy is going on today or at least prep the truck to bolt it on tomorrow. That's the plan anyway.

It was daddy’s money  my old man works for Rogers so it was a ridiculous deal. Much less than good front suspension. I’m still getting the Billies and OME setup though.

Yeah. Issue is on a daily driver you could be driving and it could be lock up while turning. Then things go boom.

They’re only engaged in 4wd I believe though. Not often am hitting a corner going 100 in 4wd.

If it is a auto locker, it locks up under wheel spin and torque if we are talking the same thing. Usually a auto locker or lunch box locker can be run in the rear but up front for a daily it’s not usually a good idea. Maybe they are different though?

I’m not too sure. From the video I gathered that it is locked all the time and only disengages under turning forces. Shauno also says in the video that it is only locked when 4wd is engaged, and when only in 2wd it’s free. Not 100% how that works but just going off of the info he says in the video.

Interesting. If that’s the case sounds like a good bang for the buck. Considering the price of arbs.

That’s what I thought. I don’t need one at all but might be worth some looking into down the road if it really is what he made it out to be in that video.

No rating but guys have towed quite a bit with them. I asked that question on another thread and got a lot of replies of guys tiring trailers with heavy equipment.
I wouldn't use it to tow anything super heavy. After looking at how this bumper installs, I would keep it to smaller trailers with smaller loads. Three bolts on either side hold everything. If front bumpers are held in place with similar setups and they can crack the welds just wheeling, imagine same thing but pulling heavy loads. I think it would bend the crap out of the frame. I thought they would send some kind of bracket to help tie everything in. Keep in mind, these are small trucks and not meant for the big stuff anyway.

You hear that clunk-clunk-clunk sound at 08:25? Imagine hearing that every time you turn a corner in daily driving.

No different from the cacophony of noises my first gen makes anyway
Dash squeak, leaf squeak, fan squeak, worn out front suspension clunk, the list goes on.

1st gens squeak? That goes against official doctrine in place since 2005!

It’s hooked up directly to the frame as the stock hitch. If anything the frame is going to be the weak link.

With my bumper at the time

Mine never had issues. All steel bumper with hidden hitch.

mine had 5 mounts per frame. 3 on the side and 2 bolts going up.
kinda like this. 3 through the side and 2 going up on the bottom.

Might be ok as long as u have the ADD since the pass shaft wouldnt even be connected to the diff in 2wd

so in theory it would be fine to run as long as there wasnt an issue wit it being driven by 1 axle shaft all the time instead of the driveshaft :notsure:
