The subie kids have been doing it for years (speaking from past experience). I’m not surprised that it transferred over to the Tacoma scene.

    Nice!
Did you use an aftermarket wiring harness to get more power or just splice into the existing wire?

They have been just about flawless since I got them. I have had to adjust 1 beam a few times, but I think it’s how the housing is mounted, just slight movement up and down. I’d buy from them again for sure, amazing quality!

That's pretty much it. They're just blacked out on the inside with the projectors, everything else is like a stock light.

He's asking about using the winch line to pull a tree out of the ground, not using one as a winch anchor. There is a special kind of chain you use for this and i think it's called a choker chain. I'll have to try and find one online.
Edit: So it looks like I used the wrong term. looks like it is actually referred to as a logging chain. The end with the small hook goes around the tree/bush/etc and then loops back over a link in order to lock it in and the end with the large hook is attached to the tractor bucket/bumper/winch line/etc that you are using to pull with.

i used the stock wiring, made it very simple. the horns came with relays but i didn't use them. they are plenty loud so i am not concerned about them needing more power.

Damn. I was in Arizona in January. Would've been happy to trade a regular hood for the sport-with-the-scoop on mine...
