Bout to pull the trigger on a lift. Been eyeballing the icon stage 4. Any other recommendations I should look into. Have right around $3000

Just do some searching around the dedicated suspension threads. Icon, ADS, Fox, King, etc.
If you like what people say about a certain brand that fits your needs, go with that brand.

I assume this is a 05+ Tacoma? I would recommend our stage 2 Fox kit, but sway the icon arm for an SPC to save you about $250

Custom valved shocks, icon add a leaf, u-bolt flip for more clearance.

Don’t do either! Get Kings. We’ve all tried everything else.

I do like the stage 3 king on accutune sight but it’s also $1000 over budget. Maybe they’ll run a discount or have a veterans discount

You don’t have to get it from them. Shop around! Or do it in stages. Usually starting with the rear yields more bang for the buck. Don’t do an AAL, not really any better than a spacer block. Custom leaf pack for sure is the way to go

I just pulled the trigger on 2.5 ext travel w/ remote resi + compression adj all around and custom length at the rear with Radflo (2-3in lift). Will be tuned by Radflo themselves which is about a 3-4 week turn around (not sure if you needing something now) + 5-10 business day shipping. Paid about the price range you are looking at. Not many Tacoma's on Radflo, but I have seen rock crawlers, hill assault buggies, fjs, and Jeeps with them on since they do custom lengths and valving free of charge if you don't mind waiting. I haven't heard a bad review on them from those guys, but as I said, haven't met a Tacoma with them on so I'm going to try it out.

The vendor questioned me a lot on different weight configurations, mods/weights I have done to the vehicle, some measurements, driving style/terrain and what I don't like or like about my current set-up to pass on to Radflo. They do have on the shelf ready to go with a standard tune if you just want something in, but most of their orders are built to order. From what I was told, most of the guys that are rocking them even talk to the owner of Radflo if they have questions so customer service seems good.

    Here is Radflo's main website:
    https://www.radflo.com/

I ordered it through State48Overland. They are just vendors and carry Icons, Fox, and Kings as well, but if you want tuned you have to get Radflo or go with Accutune.

Mostly cost, but some like the adjustability they have.

I love my Icon Stage 4 setup. Perfect for what I need. I went with the 700LB springs in the front, extended travel, and added the RXT leaf pack over the AAL. On the UCA's, go with the delta joint, much better than ball joints.
