How will the psi be adjusted with these kits if one upgraded? Waste gate adjustable?

Can you confirm the Powermax price? I thought without tune it was around $5200.

    Boost controller.

The base kit comes with 5psi wastegates. Realistic boost pressures seen at the manifold are around 6.5 psi (tapering in higher rpm).

but, due to a lot of people really wanting Powermax without DI upgrade... we may just include these same 5psi wastegates with them.

here is the thing. I really don't want to make too many options. That is what made the tunes go overboard.

So, it's either powermax coming with base 9psi, or powermax coming with base 5psi.

But if it is coming with base of 5psi, a boost controller is required to get more boost.

I do not want to offer 5psi wastegates, 9psi wastegates, 15psi ,etc etc. Only 1 wastegate option.

@mZiggy, I think Mat said the real list is the deposit link. I'm not sure your list is matching up with who has actually paid.

My order is complete. base kit.

For most folks forking up for a powermax I would assume they could fork up a couple hundred more for a boost controller or even less for a manual one. Also as Mat said there is approximately 4.5 psi left on the table to be had with the DI’s using a boost controller. For me it’s a no brainer and just have 5psi spring all around no matter the option. As soon as you say yes to powermax and DI’s later I will press that purchase deposit button lol. Sorry if I’m being pushy :D

If we can get a general agreement from you guys here (since you guys here are the ones putting in this first batch) then I'll make the powermax kits come with base 5psi wastegates.

A $50 manual boost controller will work fine. No need for a expensive electronic 3/4 port EBC.

Hell if I can finish the code for the stock gas tank evap, the stock ECU can run a boost controller.

Sorry to be dense... but are you saying that we can buy the PowerMax and run it on 5 psi safely until we are ready to fork out the money for the DI upgrade?

EDIT: Upon re-reviewing the last couple of pages it appears you're trying to gauge the wants of those that're definitely purchasing the powermax kit.

it was not the original intention of the powermax kit, but yes if you want to run it on very low boost you could without DI upgrades.

But to be crystal clear here guys, the powermax kits on 5psi offers almost no power benefits vs base.

    Okay.
So the base kits will come with 5psi wastegates.
The powermax kits will come with 5psi wastegates + springs for more boost.

When you install your turbo kit, you can select if you want to run more than 5psi base pressure on the powermax kit.

I think this is about as good as I can make it for boost psi options.

BUT to run higher than 5psi you need to have the DI upgrade.

once again all of this info will be outlined in detail. I will work on that right now for page 1.
