I just thought this was some off topic thread to kill time in. Is this a selective club of sorts? (Interest intensifies)

I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say we've become something like a family here.

As to needing a thick skin, it's all in fun.

We just talk about pretty much whatever we feel like talking about. Beer, deer, shitty jobs, good jobs, nose jobs, trucks, pets, kids, pools, tires, fingernails, vodka, diet pepsi, gummy bears, closets, socks, crow hunting and shitty people.

It’s more like Seinfeld with a running stream of consciousness. It bobs and weaves and frequently dives to unfathomable depths of peculiarly strange places. Many more pop in than stay. It’s the human fight or flight instinct. If you got what it takes, it’s a great place.

I think Brook Trout are just about the most beautiful fish of all.
And they ain't particular either, like Brown Trout, for instance.
Biggest one I ever caught was 14 inches, but the wild ones (native here) usually run smaller than that.

So easy to clean and cook.
Gut 'em and throw in the frying pan with butter and chives.
When done (don't overcook!), put on your plate, peel back the skin and lift all the bones out in one go.
Voila!

Next time you catch one, rinse off the dirt and take a better pic?
