I don't have the words for what you all are going through Paul. But you can be assured that you are in my thoughts. And as much mojo as possible is headed your way from Mn.

Didn't take me long to learn that birding and wildlife you always want more lens. On the DSLR best I can do is 300mm with a 1.4Xtc for 420mm with my Pentax K-3. And many times not enough. I especially like the small warblers but it will be another month or more before they start coming through.



This afternoon was on the deck with the dog taking a break and watched a robin fly, low and slow, into the woods. Snow and cold came Easter Sunday and has been here since pretty sure the robins wished they would had stayed in the South.

All of a sudden a crow flew down out of no where and landed on a downed tree with it. Seen crows eat baby birds and even baby rabbits but never an adult bird.



About 60 yards away. After I took the picture brought the camera and dog inside then went back outside. Lets just say I could now call that picture Last Meal. Natures cycle of life and death continues.

That video got hearts pumping earlier in the day.... good friend posted it earlier in the day; not sure how I would have felt when all that debri started across his windshield

Luckily no serious injuries that we are hearing about and typical "Mainahs", everyone OK ??? Clean it up and back to work....

 

I don't remember reading any advice or recommendations from the CDC involving the use of condiments as a way of fighting this.
