    Update 4/18/2022
I am taking a break from making these kits for the season. I will probably start again next winter when I have more free time. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    Update 12/28/2020

I have been working on designs for other models, below is a summary of what I have. As always, let me know if you'd like something custom. If it is a simple change or there is enough interest I can make it happen.

2016-2019 Tacoma SR, SR5, and Limited:
I have all the components ready to build these. $80 with 4 lights.

2020 Tacoma SR, SR5, and Limited:
I have all the components ready to build these. $100 with 6 lights.

Tacoma TRD Pro: I have one kit assembled and ready to ship. I'd like to get some feedback on the fitment before I make more kits. Please message me if you are interested in trying this. $80 with 4 lights.

2020 Tacoma TRD Offroad and TRD Sport:
I did some testing on the first design earlier this year. If there is enough interest I will complete the design. Please message me if you are interested.

    Installation Instructions:
Photos shown are for 2016-2019 SR, SR5, and Limited trims, but instructions are similar for all kits.

    Tools Needed:
    - 10mm Wrench/Socket
    - Side Cutters

Step 1: Attach light brackets with included large cable ties. The brackets were designed to install against the sides of the vertical ribs in the grille.
    IMG_4010.jpg
    IMG_4012.jpg

Step 2: Secure harness with included small cable ties.
    IMG_4013.jpg
    IMG_4014.jpg

Step 3: Remove a fuse from the circuit you choose to connect to. I choose to use an ignition circuit so my lights would turn on and off with the ignition switch. You can use any circuit you'd like, and the lights will turn on with that circuit. Install the fuse you removed into the open slot of the fuse tap. Install the fuse tap into the location where the original fuse was removed.

See the video that @Tullie D posted in post #17 below for a couple options to run the positive wire into the fuse box. Fast forward to about the 7 minute mark those examples.

    Capture.jpg

Step 4: Use a 10mm wrench/socket to remove the ground bolt on the firewall. Connect the ring terminal from the harness and reinstall the bolt.
    IMG_4020.jpg

Step 5: Secure any remaining harness with included small cable ties and use side cutters to cut the tails off all cable ties.

I’m interested in this. Is it possible to tap into the drl fuse?

You could tap into any of the mini blade fuses and the lights would turn on with that circuit. My SR5 had a spot for a DRL fuse but no fuse was installed, so I guess I can’t confirm how it would work.

If you could make one that taps into the power wire of the drl sockets in one of the headlights using a wire tap connector then I’m in.

I don’t have any means to tap into the headlight wiring. A bit of research came up empty for a place to tap into a DRL fuse either. Let me know if you find a way to do this. I’d be happy to try something, but I think the INJ fuse works well for most people.

I think I will just do it your way then. So I’ve never bought anything here, what’s the next step?

    Thanks @jrich44!
The setup was even nicer than they appeared in the photos. Those printed mounts are really outstanding and the whole setup is really well done.
Installation was a breeze, everything was appropriately spaced. No problems. Super fast delivery too! Very happy with the results!

That looks good. I bought a set too, just waiting for them. Did you put the fuse in the place he showed you or did you put it in another fuse location?

Put it exactly where he showed it. I have the LED daytime running lights and there is a 10a fuse, but no room for the add-a-fuse.
Where he places it fits nicely. I then cut a notch in the fuse lid just large enough to pass the flat harness through with no gaps. I've seen a video somewhere where you can pop out the panels where all the wiring leaves the fuse box, but I couldn't figure it out...generally I'm a disaster with tools, so what I did seemed safest. Just zip tied any extraneous wiring, which there wasn't a lot, and was good to go. Really a first-rate set up, very nice.

For those that are interested, what Rob is referring to (about cleanly routing the wire out of the fuse box) is so easy . . .

    geicocavemen.jpg

Here's a YouTube video that shows just how easy it is.

Going out to route my wire correctly now...

    Thanks @Tullie D

The avatar somehow seemed appropriate once I saw again how easy it is to route the wire correctly
