They should have sent you one. I would call or chat with them and ask them to send you one. Not sure if there's a speaker fit adapter needed for the rear doors, but they should have included that, too.

I ordered a couple of weeks ago from Cruchfield and did not receive any rear adapters either, for 2020 Tacoma.
As I posted above the Camery harness will work

will the kicker key make it so i dont have to crank the stock stereo up to 50 on the highway? im understanding that is the case because it will be putting out more power than the stock stereo correct? already replaced the front speakers which sound better.

front speakers (pioneeer TS-A6880F) can handle 80w RMS and rear (kicker 4CSC674) will be able to handle 100w RMS

is there any reason not to get the 200.4?

    Yeah.
Do it. If you follow the instructions and set the gain properly, setting volume to 32 will be loud at any speed your Taco can go. Good to hear from you, Chris!

So for the 2020 guys if we do the 6 speakers, only adapters we need are for the rear door speakers, correct? Subaru tweeters work fine with stock connectors?

There isn’t (and wont ever be) a PNP harness for nearly any amp, including the Key.
Even with the 2019-older models that used the “standard” Toyota harness, there was stil lots of work to be done. You are building a PNP harness.

I actually reached out to Kicker maybe a year ago about buying just the Key wiring from them and building PNP harnesses for members myself, but they dont sell the wiring alone so that was a bust.

Yes, you only need adapters for the door speakers.

Yeah, they have a specific 2020 harness. They told me yesterday just order the "Tacoma Plug & Play Amp Harness Installation Kit" and specify 2020 in your order notes.

So I read an interesting post on reddit where the OP referred to this post and got some good advice about Kicker Key install. It was suggested that the Key run the front door and dash speakers and the rear door was left to the stock HU. That way, they Key could more handle the sound stage. something it can't do when it runs the door/dash in parallel.

Most of the time, it's just me in the truck anyways. lol

Still thinking about a small powered sub to round it out, but I've getting a little more bass info out of my doors as they break in.

This is how I'm using the Key, and I highly recommend it. I think the auto setup does a surprisingly good job working with two tweeters and two woofers. My rear speakers are still connected to the HU, but only so I can turn them on every once in awhile to laugh at how bad the sound used to be.

I did also pop for the powered sub, and it's worth it in my opinion. I like the tactile connection to the music you get with it under the driver's seat. It's definitely not the same as a proper driver and enclosure, but the fact that it takes up zero space is worth it for me.

I installed the Kicker 46CS694 components without the included tweeters, so I only have the dash tweets. Sounds much better than the 3-ways.

In the future, if I feel frisky, I might install those tweeters in the sail panels and replace the dash with some small mids.

Which sub did you go with? Did you wire it off the rear speaker line level output?

When you wired your dash to the Key, were you able to do that at the HU harness or did you have to run lines up to the dash? I haven't looked at a HU harness yet to see if there are 4 or 6 speaker leads off of it.

I got the 8" Kicker Hideaway, although I would have gotten the 10" if it was available at that time. It is wired into the harness I built for the key, specifically tapping the front speaker output from the HU. They run from behind the dash, down through the kick panel and under the carpet to below the driver's seat. There is also a remote turn on spliced into the harness in a similar manner.

Received my Kicker speakers today, 4 days from Crutchfield. I have seen it mentioned that some users are using weather stripping to seal the the speaker adapters and the speakers into them. I would like to ask what type would be good for this purpose. I wanted to use Noico deadening material but it may take awhile since Amazon is not shipping non-essential products.

Get it from eBay. Same price, free shipping.

These guys shipped out pretty quick and have been reliable for both orders I made.
