Yes but 2019 tax filing wasnt due until this month, and they even extended the deadline because of the pandemic. So a lot of people haven't even submitted 2019 taxes yet. That's why they're going off of 2018 because everyone's already done those

 

I doubt that considering probably millions of Americans have yet to file for the 2019 fiscal year.

 

Nah, asked my dad one more time and he said he did file me as dependant in 19 yesterday it was 18 which is why i was all excited

Were at that in between age where our parents cant get $500 for us cause were over 17 and we cant get $1200 cause were dependent.

I'm glad cause my last raise put me over the income limit for the $1200, but in 2018 I was still below it..so I should get the full $1200.

Just not sure if we'll get the extra $500 for our daughter cause she was born in Jan. She has a SSN so we're thinking she should be counted
