gonna get a pair of smoked fog , it gonna look good and im color matching everthing too since my accident

 

i have been looking at some smoked fog lights also, i think they look pretty sick

 

accident?! bad or what? yah the smoked fogs look good.

nice. i think imma go with the regular ones. i think they'll match my truck more than the smoked or the yellow ones.

 

yeah a chick hit my right rear corner, as i was turning into the mall. get new bumper and gotta repaint the whole rightside of the bed. How much would yo think it would cost to color match everything???? front back bumper, mirror door handle tailgate handles???

 

damn...id say prob around $500 to paint everything...that's on the high side tho..you prob can get it cheaper if you look around..and i don't own a paint shop...so i'm prob a bit off on the price.

that seems pretty high to me. im waiting to get a quote from a buddy of mine that works at a ford dealer to do the front of my truck

 

that too paint the fron/back bumper, door handles, tailgate handles and the mirror.

I just read through all 10 pages of this for an explanation of the whale. What's the deal?

LOL the whale. a bunch of my friends work at a local arcade and we were cruising outside, bored, like usual. saw the whale on display as one of those ticket prizes, conned one of my friends with alot of tickets to get it for me, and zip tied it to the bumper. it's been there ever since. It has only fallen off once...

i keep it on cause most people already know the truck because of the whale.

 

Did you have to roam the streets to find it?

lol didn't need to send out a search party. fell off when i was pulling into my driveway, i had a lot of stuff in the bed so i guess it dragged on the ground for while, and the whale was not happy about that, so it decided to fall off. or the zip tie just broke lol

and as long as you don't get a whale. if you do, i will be on the next plane over to cali. i think they fly direct to SD. if not i'll just go ride a whale there, i've watched that stupid movie enough times to know how by now.

oh yah and i actually have XR rims on my truck right nao. lol

 

hey kelson how your painted front bumper holding up???? getting mines painted now with the damage to the truck from the accident. Is there any paint chips from regular driving. My uncle that is painting the front bumper is saying that it will happen. The places that i asked around , said that it gonna cost that much because of the labor of taking the parts of and painting them and putting them back on. Maybe i should have asked call 277-6884 ask for gary. from just4kix. Im at the shop already and didnt want to take time away from work.

 

naturally u will get chips on your front bumper if its painted and especially if it's lowered. but u can always help that by touching it up with some paint or having more clear coat sprayed on to protect it more

 

idk are you gonna put clearcoat on it? i have a couple layers of it...seems to be helping with mine. but no paint chips, yet.

x2 i mean you can only do so much to protect it, just like the stock bumper if it came painted already, your still gonna see small chips every once in awhile.
