are the 2020 trucks the only ones with the wiring already in place to plug and play this kit? i like the looks of this kit over the 2019 and previous kit. could this kit be compatible with a 2019 sport double cab? Ski

I'm pretty sure the actual openings for the lights are completely different. I could be wrong though.

I looked at the eBay offer on the kit listed in the ad at the bottom of the page. I can’t quite tell how these are retained in the factory holes. It looks like they just snap in without fasteners.

I just installed the oem tailgate lock. The instructions say it is incompatible with the bed lighting kit. Can anyone confirm if this is accurate for 2020?

I am thinking about adding this set up to my 2020 Access cab but the light switch costs more than the lights! Did you find a good deal on the switch? I cant find it under $60.

Yeah, the switches are pricey. The part number for the switch that you're supposed to get is 84267-0C020. I ended up buying a used older switch part 84267-0C010. I wasn't sure it was going to fit, so I took a gamble and bought one off eBay for $50. I put it in a few days ago and it fits perfectly! I think you can find them for $40 used. My total cost was $128 total including shipping and tax ($65 for the lights, $8 relay, and $55 for the switch).

I would show some pictures but it won't let me for some reason.

Thanks for this info— Crazy how much a 3 way switch costs— even used! So does this set up light up the 3rd break light as well like it does in the crew cab, or just the 2 bed accessory lights?

Little late to this party, but I have a 2020 Pro that we are trying to find the factory bed lights for. Every dealership out here in SoCal says they are on hold and Toyota is not releasing them for purchase yet. We found a Toyota rep who disclosed they have a crapload of them in a wearhouse in Ontario but can't release them to the public yet and they are geared to go the assembly plant for new order vehicles only. The body shops said they can't even get them in for replacements. Can anyone provide a link where you may have found the correct lights for 2020 PRO? We found out they are not the same light as standard 2020's for some reason.

Black overlays, black inserts in tailgate, factory running boards, factory tonneau cover. LED interior light kit
That's interesting. When I ordered mine for my 2020 sport the dealer never asked which model I own. I Just asked for the led bed lights for a 2020 and got the right parts

scared to try from them. We ordered from Toyota dealership and used correct part number, but they sent us the ones for 2019 and they are not the same. Dealership called Toyota corp and they said not released yet. To which I said, "Then why the hell are you sending us 2019 lights under this part number when they are not correct and will not fit?" Dumb......

You can order through Camelback Toyota (online) at a pretty good price. I can confirm that the part number I reference in the BAM link is the same part number Camelback ships which is the new 2020 LED (Flat - three LED) light.

Fantastic! Thank you. I've tried 3 different dealerships out here and they all told me the same thing. What a nightmare getting stupid bedlights! If you notice, the covers are even different on the 2020 Pro's from the other 2020 models. Craziest shit ever and dealerships tell me the regular original part # does not match the OEM bedlights you get if you order the truck with them installed. Really???? What dumbass came up with this idea?IMG_4636.jpg

Ok, I think I’m going to try and retro fit these in my 2017 by cutting the hole you 2020s have stock.

could someone post detailed photos of measurements of the hole?

I need measurement of the hole itself as well as how far down and in the hole starts? Make sense?

Let me know! I might be able to make a template for anybody else who likes these 2020 lights better than the 2016-2019 OEM lights.

also, if anybody would be cool enough to mail me the pop off covers that are no longer used after you installed the lights, that would help too!
