Ya there are some good people out there. The entitlement kills me. I want to tell them - The world don’t owe you shit, get off your ass and be part of the solution not the freaking problem. I am not by nature a PC person, I’ve become far better at finding nicer way to tell people what I think over the course of my career but there are still times when I’ve had enough and the true me comes out in full force.

 

Some people shop that way all the time. I don’t mind when people buy to have the things they need but when someone walks out of a store with a cart full of TP that ain’t right. We buy what we need for whatever timeframe we need it for. I can’t take the crap in stores where people are trying to push through others so they can get product X before the person in front of them does. That’s when I start to get shitty.

 

Agreed. The biggest thing that bothers me is that so many people are freaking out or totally disregarding guidelines. I don't wear a mask, but I maintain distance and hygiene (which was drilled into me in the Army and when I was a field sanitation NCO, who actually took the job seriously). The real answer is in the middle. Wear a mask, maintain distance from people and limit public exposure.

 

You have the ability to utilize something many people don’t it seems. COMMON SENSE

On another note, I'm trying to figure what to spend my socialist bucks on. I told the wife she gets 20% for spreading around money lol. I'm thinking an NFA trust and a suppressor or red dot pistol. I could also save it towards regearing my Taco.

 

They are going to enforce masks in public in the city here beginning Saturday. Not sure how. I also heard they are starting to limit shopping alphabetically in one of our southern most counties, which is sure to spread to other counties. So many shelves were empty at the store the other day I was alarmed enough to ask. The answer I got was "shipments are being affected".

Time to lock and load boys and girls.

I was in the city yesterday. Normally the sidewalk is so crowded with people you have to almost weave to walk down it, and that's when it's raining. I saw one homeless person and that was it. It is so freaky.

It's less crowded here, but so much of the local community is essential that it really hasn't changed that much. Almost the whole town is in the medical field or working at the Army base right by us.

 

Nice. I smoke a Turkey for Thanksgiving every year, so it needs to be large enough for a 20-ish pound turkey. It looks like that might work.

 

I bid on a 300 Blackout AR build kit on GunBroker earlier. Now I have to wait 4 more days to see if I won it.

Hopefully, you get it. The .300 Blackout/AAC is as fun as .22LR when suppressed. I keep saying it, but I took a deer with supersonic .300AAC out of a suppressed Remington 700 at 100-ish yards back in January. It was still super quiet. We later plinked with leftover ammo and I was taking it out to 300 on 18" steel with sub-sonic ammo. The drop was like 20 feet

 

That's nice you have the cavalry so close. They've started breaking down the stats by race here. I don't understand why a state with so much racial tension constantly wants to demonstrate the differences.
