nice to see a big photo of this ha

I bet if you made the side plates thicker like you said you'll be good. Also can you run a tube on the bottom tying the two plates together? is there room? I'd do that as well for when it is open.

Hm not sure actually. I got it from some weird website toolsID.com. Pretty sure it was. I passed smog though and got rid of my P0420 code so :notsure:

    Mostly this.

There's a dude who gets all upset about sooooo many things and argues why he knows better for like 5 pages. He's been gone for awhile and it's been nice.

Someone said he was banned. It was most likely due to him "discussing" and everyone else arguing.

    So what's the little win?

I just replaced my old worn-out lift with some Kings and when I went to get the alignment checked I was told that my camber and caster adjuster bolts were rusted in the bushings and couldn't be adjusted. Should I just get new bolts and bushings or is it time to go with aftermarket UCA's? 20200414_174947.jpg

If you plan to get most of your alignment out of your UCAs, you'll probably have to center/adjust your LCAs to a desirable position anyway, so I say fix the LCA bushings first.

Nice! What are you using for hinges? And it looks like dual? Let's see it in action...

    Looks good so far.

Things we do to our trucks always seems to need a bit more attention. I've been spending the last few weeks fixings past mods that got rushed or added to and annoyed me. And fixing problems like ant nests in the wiring....

I enjoy his discussions, he has his own opinions and doesn't just follow the herds way of thinking. He may not be right but he at least isn't afraid to challenge the popular belief and just follow like a sheep. I don't get why everyone gets so bent when they have a difference of opinion. I don't think I've seen him personally insult anyone.

    Well... let me tell you...
None one should be banned about OPINIONS , unless conduct is bad
IDK anything about whom you guys refer but just in general, I read...
Opinions are like assholes... everyone has one

Let me give you an pears to pears comparison
    Michellin Defender $ 191 each
Cooper Evolution HT $ 85. each.

I read the details and specs of each tire and most important , WHERE it was made...:oldglory:.... I worked for BF Goodrich so I know a little bit on tires.

Cooper is made by Goodyear.... so I pulled the trigger on that deal , now I got the truck running on those because I don't want to spend the DOUBLE in Michellin for now. Check , the quality is quite close similar.... smooth ride.

The pandora box of OEM vs whatever.... there are so much counterfit , knockoffs online , ebay , Amazon , everywhere.... there is not doubt you take the risk when you don't purchase OEM... specially we have good vendors and Camelback Toyota and some toyota parts webs on this forum ... I would rather spend a little more instead of doing the job twice.... like when I tried to save on axle seal job and ended up paying at dealership to get it right....... anyways... just my opinion :mudding:

I got into it once with him a few years ago.

Same guy though sent me a part I was looking for on here free of charge cross country because he saw that I wasn’t getting it on the part-outs and he had one that he wasn’t using. He also went and spent a day digging a stranger out of the mud on here last year.

I don’t know, part of me thinks he’s just one of those guys that doesn’t realize how abrasive he comes across online.

Matts a good dude. He organized a fire relief convoy when the town of paradise burned down. He constantly hosts mod days and his garage is open to all. Everybody gets their panties in a bunch when someone doesn't agree with them, its just the way the internet is

My Dakars have 5 leafs + 2 overloads. Yours have 6 leafs with 2 overloads. So I think you're good.

    No hablo Español.

If I'm replacing it every year regardless of brand I'll go with the cheaper option. It's inevitable for me and the way I abuse this hunk of metal.
