I got my one piece made in Virginia Beach. Then got it retubed after mangling it in Colorado Springs. I havent had any issues with my one piece. been way better than when i had a two piece. The first place that built mine basically took all the parts/flanges/slip joint from my original two piece and made my one piece

 

When I needed driveshaft work I found Drivelines of Seattle, half the price of drivelines nw and much nicer.
This was long ago so your mileage may vary.

dlnw said they would make a 1 pc. but no warranty and highly frowned upon. for 800$ wtf?

this honestly appeals more than a 1pc.

 

i did all that. from what i found here. so my angles are correct and shudders still ugh! my reason for searching other routes.

I paid 350 for mine and that also included making the front longer. Did it when I installed crawl box

 

Yeah they suck from what I've heard. Buddy with a SAS 4runner had them make a front driveshaft and they f'd it all up. Twice, and it still wasn't right. His home made square tube driveshaft worked better than what they sold him. At least it's the front and it doesn't spin all the time, so it being unbalanced isn't noticable unless over 35mph in 4h.

I've heard of other unhappy customers that reported similar experiences with DLNW.

I agree with hx989 a double cardan one-piece should be a fine tuned rotating torque tube..

Fer sure, the chances a 18" section of tube is causing vibes worse than the longer section are slim. Possible but slim. It would have to be pretty f'd up to create wicked vibes in such a short span.

 

wasn’t there a place near issaquah that did drive lines?

 

And front diff is fully assembled, dunno when it’s going on, got the kid from Thursday to Sunday

 

When you thinking you might want to do some

 

gotta figure out how to notch 8 1/34 tubes to accept a 1 1/2

maybe Monday or Tuesday of next week?
