Yeah.... Roll With the Changes is my favorite song, bar none. Takes me back to the late 70's, cruising in a CJ5, top down , Jensen triaxials crankin', girls in cutoffs and bikini tops, hanging out by the river, cheap beer.... Good times!

    Mornin' whatevererererers. :playball:

    Please read:

So yesterday evening while cutting the grass, I observed something that moved me.
I live on a fairly quiet street with low traffic volume, so I was surprised to see a line of cars suddenly backed up. I thought something might have happened so I looked at the first car in line, but they were just sitting in the road with their brakes on, in front of a house. Some of the cars were honking, and I noticed the family who lived in the house were on the front porch watching all the cars slowly go by.

After noticing that some of the cars had decorations and balloons, I discovered that it was sort of a mobile drive-by birthday party for one of the kids who lives in that house. The compassion and kindness of this group gesture hit me like a wave, and it showed me that we can come together and care about one another even in uncertain times, and I feel lucky that I was able to see this thing happen while doing something as ordinary as mowing my lawn.
I will admit that I finished up the lawn while weeping at times (I know it wasn't allergies... allergies don't make me sob), but at least there was a smile on my face.

I just felt I should share. Stay strong and stay positive.

That is awesome, we should have done that for our sons 8th bday party we had to cancel. It would have only been about 5 cars though.

We actually had something similar happen to us. My oldest turned 9 on the 4th, and since we couldn't have a party, her cousins came out and decorated our mailbox with balloons and put her presents beside it.

I also heard on the local radio that the neighbors of all the doctors and nurses at the local hospital will come out on their porches and give the medical personnel a round of applause when they come home.

There was actually a "Government Study" done that showed more women and teen girls that smoked are more sexually active than those that don't smoke.

It's like being Bill Murray in "Groundhog Day", seems like you wake up and it's the same shit all over again.
