I’m toying with the idea of getting a new Tundra. But I’m going to keep my D-Cab.

 

I love my tundra. Just be sure to get the 38 gallon tank. You can score pretty solid deals on them too, especially since they usually have 0% financing.

 

Tomorrow I’m going to look at a first gen Raptor.

My options are unlimited.

 

it's just not worth it mate. They're cool trucks don't get me wrong but day-to-day maintenance and just upkeep plus the not anywhere near Stella reliability of their drivetrain is just not worth it. Then again if it's the naturally aspirated 6.2L you should be all right in that department.




I was idly thinking about getting a small older taco as a daily driver and then came across a single cab first gen for less than 4K and nearly immaculate shape. Just can't quit justify 4k at the moment lol

Hoping to hear about my phone interview today. I am getting kind of excited about this one and that doesn't normally happen. I'm going to put on my "try hard pants" which also doesn't normally happen. Especially in these times of "pants optional" .

 

I’ve been doing more video interviews and I even had the the thought of hm maybe I shouldn’t look like a hobo for this

That’s why I got my tundra when I did. The 5.7 and 6 speed are bulletproof and run forever.

 

Just don't accidentally stand up without pants on in the interview.

 

If you use a stand up desk, you don’t have that problem unless you wander off lol

 

Yeah, I'll have a phone interview first and then if it goes well I will have a video interview and hopefully that will be when they tell me.

I actually don't mind wearing a tie. Or dressing up for that matter. It's just so damn expensive. lol
