I had to, as I went with bigger tires.

Plus a 5 tire rotation keeps them lasting longer

My original spare is up and under. I did lower it Check the air pressure and greased the cable during the forced “vacation!”
I however have the stock size265/65/17 just upgraded to Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo2 tires. Bought them 2/24/2019 at 49,535 and now at 73,500.
    All highway.
I’m hoping on the next set to get bigger tires.

It makes sense, but I don't know if I'll do it. It would be smart just for the sake of maintaining the spare tire hanging mechanism.

Wanna buy some lightly used KO2's?:D

I'd consider it only if I had 5 matching rims plus TPMS. otherwise, no thanks.

I'm also really bad at actually doing rotations. my last set of tires I think I rotated twice in the 56k I had them and one time was cuz I had a flat to get fixed so had them rotate them too lol

    265/70/17... Ssshhhh

I hadn't thought about the TPMS sensor situation. That's an onion in the ointment.

I rotate mine at every oil change. I also don't follow the standard rotation sequence as I'm convinced that changing the direction of rotation is the most important thing. These KO2's have about 29K on them and looks like they could go another 30K easily. Plus, they're worn very evenly.

The tires on my Tacoma had probably 40K on them when I traded it in and the dealer commented that the tires were in great shape.

Sorry, apparently I'm a super-nerd when it comes to tires and tire rotation.

    What a nerd

I really should do it more often but with the lifespan I’ve been getting out of them, it hasn’t really been a big deal.

Some tires are probably more sensitive than others. I just do it while I'm changing the oil, so it's easy. I was nervous about the KO2's getting noisy, so I've been more adamant about it. It seems to have been working.

Hmmm I haven't lived my spare tire chains mechanism. Probably will next time.

You can go up to 32's on stock suspension. :D

At least for this first rotation, the tire I hung under the truck has the valve stem as close to the spot it was replaced from, so no tpms warnings for now. Of course that will change next rotation

I got the new rubber mounted yesterday. I'm liking them so far. The shop put them at 35 PSI, but I think I'm going to lower them a bit.

Why would I replace a brand new SOS front bumper?
