Bamf sells rear bumpers too. Bamf rear bumpers are pricey though

 

My bad I wasnt specific. I'm thinkin HC rear bumper with or without swing out. I'm also considering other aftermarket rear options too

 

With single swing out the BAMF rears are 2,300. Just bought a BAMF hybrid though for 1200

 

Haven’t been on a while but hope everyone is doing well. I know it’s a pain with everything going on with the shelter in place but it’s for a reason. My brother just got out of the hospital after being intubated and sedated for the last week with Covid symptoms. Went in with pneumonia like symptoms, being barely able to breathe and immediately had a breathing tube inserted and fighting for his life on a ventilator. Even flat lined when they first sedated him. Had all the symptoms/signs of Covid but none of his tests were positive which apparently is showing up more and more. He’s better now and home but could have gone either way. Scary thing is he was fine and skateboarding on Friday and almost losing his life on Monday. Happens fast.

Curious, if he had all the symptoms, but tested negative, what are the doctors saying caused the problem?

I was just reading something taking about the high rate of test “failures”. I used quotes because it’s not clear why or if the test failed.
It is possible it was a severe case of flu in some of the failures. I guess my question is if so many tests fail, why? What’s being done about that?

So...
I went ahead and ordered a lightweight aluminum tailgate skin. Consider this post to be a bit of a quality-control review after opening the package (prior to install).

The reasons I why I went with this product:
1. Weight. It's like 12lbs!
2. Cost. It wasn't much more than going the DIY right with HDPE from Tap Plastics, but this is an easy bolt-on.
3. Patience. Right now I don't have much patience, so this seemed easy.

There are some damaged powdercoat areas, along with some scratches that appear to have existed prior to packaging. The cuts and holes do not appear to be laser-cut, leaving some ugly edges.

 

Thanks guys, was a surreal experience as we couldn’t even see him or be together as a family. They could only conclude it was Covid as they ruled out some other potential diagnoses. Did two tests in house and even sent one to Stanford. All were negative which baffled the doctors.

 

The PNW droppers are really good too. Was considering a Fox post, and folks were saying bike yoke was solid too, but had to go with PNW, glad I did. Great value.
Had a reverb before that. And we all know about those.

 

Gotta put together a minimalist recovery kit. I sold my straps and snatch block etc. with my last truck and need to start over with this taco. I got sliders, 33's, and a hitch skid with a rec. point on it. Next is a recovery kit. I could piecemeal build one out, but what options are y'all seeing out there? Anyone sell a decent kit already setup? I'll need a bubba rope, a couple d-rings, and what do you think? I don't want to go all overlander kitchen sink with this thing either. Just a capable wheeler/dd rig.
