No politics please as I'm sure this will quickly get locked. What are your plans for it (doesn't have to be truck related)

I got a whopping $56.00 while my coworker got $2900. I won't even mention how many more thousands I pay in taxes more than he does monthly.

Anyway plan is to keep it in the bank, I was gonna go do my part as a proud citizen and blow it on stupid shit to stimulate the economy but I'm a bit jilted (aka hater)

That’s kind of the idea. In theory the money goes to those who need it more based on lower income.

So... yeah... you paid thousands more in taxes... Used some tax calculators online and the tax stimulus calculator and came up with the below. Hopefully gives some perspective. I'm assuming your co-worker was married filing jointly with a single child to come up with the 2900 stimulus. Wasn't sure on yours so I did it as single, married, and married with one kid to come up with your possible AGIs. AGI would simply go up per kid.

I would like to thank you for making far more money than I or your co-worker, and for paying your taxes.

I haven't received anything yet about this. I went to the IRS web site yesterday to "track my payment" and it came back with "We are unable to provide a status on your <stimulus check> at this time"... Theoretically, as I made the cutoff for AGI on my 2018 tax filing, I should get the full $1200. But I trust government entities about as far as I can bench press my Tacoma. :benchpress:

More than zero. To say how much the check was for would let you know exactly what I declared on my taxes last year.

Well, sounds like you are better off! 2840 dollars more stimulus does not sound worth the extra cost of a child and lifestock!

Don't get me wrong I'm not crying I didn't get money, just bitching and ranting about paying taxes as usual while people who make less don't have to contribute their share.

The governor of California announced illegals in California will get $500 since they couldn't get the federal stimulus
