I think it’s funny that anyone over 18 claimed as dependent doesn’t get anything and neither do the parents. Just kinda skipped.

^This. But, like others have mentioned, my usual expenses have decreased significantly. Haircut, food delivery, gas, going out etc. adds up mighty quick.

I got the full married + 2 kids check. My wife is working part time, and that kept us under the limit. Wifey already bought a new Avocado mattress and a personal trainer for 3 months. My side of the check will go to truck parts and 2nd amendment paraphernalia.

Gotta support American companies now more than ever.

Was gonna blow it on duratracs and caliraised ditch lights but im gonna save it until im employed again....

Made a thread weeks ago “What are you gonna blow your $1200 stimulus check on?” and it got deleted in like an hour because it got so political.

    Edit: so good luck....

What the heck is an avocado mattress? Sounds like something that will be rock hard for a week, be perfect for an hour, then completely disintegrate.

hahaha fair. It was highly rated by consumer reports for big and tall dudes. Its supposed to be uber good on the environment if that matters to you, which didn't really matter to me.

I'm only mad because I didnt come up with the idea of selling vegan mattresses. Thats a marketing strategy that will probably make some coin.

    Cool, hopefully it sleeps well.

I got a big goosegg AND my direct withdrawal for extra taxes owed hit yesterday.

On the plus side, my wife and I are young, have good jobs and are still currently healthy. I consider myself lucky at the end of the day, a one-time payment of 1200 isn’t going to change much.

That'd be my 19-year-old brother. He was all excited and seemed to expect it even though he's never had a job.
