Yup, and skinny jeans shouldn't even be a thing, but they are. If anyone ever sees me wearing them you have my permission to beat me with a baseball bat.

Shit. I have uttered this sentence.

"Talk back to me again and when we pop into the store for your "essentials" I will wear sandals with black socks and follow you around. Push me. PUSH ME."

At the time, yes. Now he's 25 and will wear black socks with sandals too because "Dad, life's too short to be embarrassed by the little stuff. It's walking around with your dick hanging out that you got to worry about."

    Not to split hairs but...

Olympics plagued by bulging ‘moose knuckles’

Ladies and gentlemen, there’s a pressing issue we need to tackle.

And it involves the Olympic outfits for the Australian male rowers.

After bemoaning the inequality in the men’s and women’s beach volleyball uniforms just two days ago (i.e., women wearing skimpy outfits, men basically wearing pajamas), we must say, it’s refreshing to see the tables turned somewhat. For a fraction of a second, the focus has shifted from the sporting triumph to the physical “attributes” of the male competitors.

For some countries, the lower half of their rowing suit is a demure, modesty-maintaining black:

    upload_2020-4-16_13-27-25.jpg

But not for the Australian men’s sculling team! Oh no no no. We have shiny light green on the lower half — one of the most unforgiving colors in the spectrum:

[IMG] Now, we like to think that we’re mature adults. We pay our taxes, hold down full-time jobs and fill out the Census (just kidding! — that’s impossible), but it’s difficult to look at that image without turning into a gutter-minded 15-year-old.

It seems the photographers don’t quite know how to handle the situation either. They either home in in an utterly unflinching manner (as in the pic above), or frame the photo in a truly odd manner, which screams, “Avert your eyes, people!”

We understand that from an ergonomic perspective, these suits probably have to be tight — there can’t be an extraneous windsock slowing them down when things are coming down to .001 of a second. But it might be time to consider an undergarment, or a different design, for the sake of the athletes. Because as you can see from these images, design and color play a Big Part.

Now all that is left to do is come up a catchy term for the male equivalent of the camel-toe.

Is it a “bag of mixed lollipops”? “Possums fighting in a Hessian sack”? A “jumble sale”?

Urban Dictionary suggests that it is “moose knuckles”:

in Yiddish this means a man that has his pants hiked up too far and has split the difference in his bean bag, leaving one nut on either side of the crotch seam … most often associated with older men in slacks with belts.

This whole topic makes us miss Australian sports comedians Roy and HG on our television screens, because they no doubt would have a lot of fun with this. Clever terminology is their specialty.

    Let us reminisce:

But maybe we just need to acknowledge that Australian male athletes have a strong history of wearing tight uniforms with pride, and grow the hell up.

    Actually, forget what we said.

Darker Lycra doesn’t make any difference. Whatsoever.

Just like you don't fish in the woods or hunt deer at sea, you need to consider the environment.

Walmart in an older / poorer part of town is very different from Sprouts/TraderJoes/WholeFoods in the younger / affluent part of town.

    Agreed.

Yoga pants at Whole Foods is a feast for the eyes.

Yoga pants at Dollar General is against the Geneva Convention.

I think the biggest WTF is the 2 cars that tailgated the plane as it landed all the way to where it pulled over and they swerved around it.
