I'm running 285/75/17 and have not re-geared. I did install a Hypertech calibrator to fix the speedo/odo/shift points that were off due to the 10.5% size increase. No issues.

Read through this thread about 4 times now haha. Test fit a 285/70/17 yesterday and felt like I needed more meat. Test fitting a 285/75 Ridge Grappler today and getting my CMC done on Saturday. This is on a second gen though. Not going to lie, I'm pretty anxious about the rubbing, but going to follow all the recommendations in here and see what happens. Will post pics soon.

I think if you hammer the tabs you'll get it to work.

Perfect size for the 2nd gen too. Still need to do my CMC, but running 5 degrees of caster with very minor rubbing at the moment. Love the new stance.

Yes, I am running Yukon 4.88s. Best mod I did after the lift and tires. Gear hunting is not as sporadic and the truck seems to slow down better as well (don't have to mash on the brake pedal as hard).

Finally got the 285/75-17s on. Still stock suspension. Just waiting on the lift. Wanted to check and make sure I got enough trimming done first. Seems ok. Did a cab mount relocate, pinch weld hammered and some minor trimming in the rear of fender and trimmed the front. Waiting on front HC bumper. But no rub yet hitting curbs and inclines around town. Won’t go off-road till the suspension shows

No lift yet. Waiting for my core charge to come back from the 5.29 gears. But going fox 2.5 front and rear

Nothing but the TPAM mount and a KN cold air intake
Would it be to much of a hassle for you to list your exact lift parts and what went into it. I am a novice at all this lift stuff and I want the ICON lift but I wanna make sure I have everything I need. I have the exact same truck and I am obsessing over yours. Please and thank you sir.

I posted this in the Maxtrac thread but I guess it belongs here too

Could I run 285/75R17 (33.83") on just the 4" spindles up front or would I need the CMC? Tires are going to be mounted on 4Runner TRD Pro wheels (17x7, 4.5" BS, +4mm offset)

Sorry Im late to this thread but I what back spacing do I need for this size tire. I already have lift and new suspension but was curious as to my wheels. I really want this size tire...

Can you post a side shot? I'm thinking about getting the exact wheels on my Cement DCLB. You like them?

These have been sitting at my house for months. Finally got them mounted up to some 285/75r17 BFG KO2’s and I freaking love them! This size is perfect for me. Still need to get my CMC and other clearancing done but it’s fine for driving around town for now.

For those wondering, yes you can fit a 285/75r17 under the bed. I moved the hoist backwards a few weeks ago, and already chopped the exhaust. The passenger side tire tab needs to get hammered nearly flat (I bent it up slightly once everything was in place), the driver side one I don’t think needs to get touched at all (I hammered it and then re bent it). It’s a bit of a two person job to position it because you have to push it back and towards the passenger side, but it is solid once it’s up there. As you can see, it’s a very tight fit, but there appears to be adequate room for the brake lines and diff. Time will tell!

I rubbed my JBL UCA with 0 offset. Got 1” spacers. 1/2” probably would have worked. It just barely rubbed when in reverse full turn
