Is the stock 3G doublecab stereo 4 equal channels or are the rear channels different?

I could not find the answer to this question. I have a stock OEM 3G TRD head unit in a 2017 Doublecab. The front speakers sound great, and the rear speakers sound pretty thin. I have replaced both with aftermarket, but kept the stock headunit/amp. The rear speakers still sound pretty tinny and weak, as did the OEM rear speakers.

    My question:

Are the L/R OEM Amplifier channels that feed the rear 6" speakers filtered (bass cut), or less powerful than the L/R OEM Amplifier channels to the front 6X9 Speakers? I am trying to figure out if the front channels sound better simply because they feed 6X9 speakers, or if they actually have more bass information. I would like a little better performance out of the back 6", but don't know if the only option is a better amp.

Sure thing! Looks like an amp will be in your future if want to keep stock head unit.

Looking at that post, they are definitely shelving (cutting) the bass response to the rear speakers. That explains a lot. Thanks again.
