I have my eye on a set of those as well. How do you like them now that you got your hands on them?

Got my recovery gear squared away. I know we love our top of the line, big money equipment. But realistically, in north America, especially east of the Mississippi, I feel this is really all you actually *need*.

Got the lift and tires done today. Super happy with the Icon Stage 4 kit and huge shoutout to Headstrong Off-road for a great deal and great customer service!

How do you like the kit? I know you just got it done but this wound be the best time as you’re still assuming on the same wheel setup? Did you do anything In the rear? Other than their shocks

Initial reaction is that it rides way better than stock. The Icons eat up all the little bumps and dips in the road like they’re nothing. Looking forward to seeing how it performs off-road. I did the 3 leaf AAL in the rear as well. Very happy with it so far.

This is such a good looking size for Tacoma’s

I do get a slight rub on the corner of my front mud flaps when turning in to parking spots, but so minor it’ll either clearance itself eventually or go away when the tire wears a little. It’s way better than some of the lowered sports cars and compacts I’ve had over the years.

    No issues in the rear.

I’ve got all of 30 miles on these so far but my impressions so far are really good. They’re noisy but different than the studded snow tires they replaced... lower pitched, more of a howl (these are my first MT tires). The ride quality and handling at 38psi is great. I’ll have some slush and ice experience on the way home tonight.

I can’t wait for the ice to melt so I can install my 5100’s and AAL.

62236C85-4D60-452A-92C3-4F50E010BACA.jpg I decided that I needed to take a page from @KTJO 4x4’s awesome build. I added some recovery points to the bottom of the rear bumper. I probably wouldn’t do a hard tug on anything with these until I can upgrade the hardware and add an additional mounting point but I think it looks pretty good in the meantime.

6112 front (6/5 clip setting) and 5160 rears with Icon AAL 1.5 kit (left overload leaf out per Icon recc.)
Added the Front Diff drop kit and the OME carrier bearing drop kit

After driving all settled into within 1/4" or so of each other on height (shell installed so that likely drops the rear down a little) but at moment it's just about completely level.

During first test drive, I have the talked about vibration and just ordered the ECGS bushing/needle replacement to hopefully remedy this issue. Otherwise the ride feels decent and it soaks up large bumps better than the stock OR Billsteins for sure.

About 1150 with the tonneau and bed mat staying in there. I have to be honest. The dclb doesn't look as good stock with 1000 pounds in the bed as that dcsb. Lol

Maybe need a modest spacer on top of the front shocks to eliminate the rub?

Put on the summer tires and rims for the first time. When I burn these tires out this year will have to get some ko2s. Just bought this truck so haven’t done anything yet other than Meso headlight trim plates, led headlights and interior leds. Hope for no more snow here on cape breton Nova Scotia.

Yeah I never actually factored in my bed mat or toolbox.... Now you have me thinking I was pushing at least 1200. Surprised I wasn't on bump stops

I like the white trim. I color matched mine as well.

I’ve got Bilstein 5100’s waiting for good weather to install that I’ll set at a 2” lift.

My plan is similar but only going up 1 notch and adding the minimum spacer on the drivers side. Hoping to get done in about weeks.
