They have to pay to send their shit in. Plus, they’ve been around since the beginning. It helps @OVTune if he doesn’t have to deal with the dongles anymore. Quit bitching

Is 2.0 still set to release this weekend? I know @OVTune got my dongle Already but didnt get registry info yet. Wasnt sure if 2.0 is set for certain testers or for everyone.

 

04B04 only for “test and review” and no promises.

 

2.0 for 04B04 I'd still on schedule.

Other news. Software update and table code is done, as I was referring to earlier. So support may be ready as soon as next week.

Dongle trade in owners and flash kit owners who want vF will get to first access.

Then, after 04B04 2.0 test and review finishes, we roll 2.0 out for everyone.

great info only thing is alot of dongle owners are the 04B04 dongle folks. Do you think you will have the registry info out by the weekend (assuming you have their returned dongles) so we are able to load the P5F file?

 

Does this mean flash kit owners who want vF across all ECUs or only 04B04? If it’s all ECUs I’m happy to be an “early adopter”.

 

Might be a dumb question but here goes. Im 04B04 running beta 2.0 19770, dongeled. Im pretty happy with this tune especially the aggressive tip but for obvious reasons am eager for 2.0 Final as well. If I send dongle in for replacement to vF will I still be able to switch to beta 19770 if I want to?

if you have what you want why would you change or flash to the same thing? Don't flash to 2.0 final if you like what you are on. Or download 19700 in pf5 now (highly advised!) and flash to it once you get license for p5f if you don't like 2.0 final in p5f. Don't forget to go to your download file and delete pcm files once you confirm your p5f files work.

 

Yes I should be able to get keys out to you guys by release.

vF Tuner will support ALL ECUs.
Even including 04B00 and 04B01.
Althouth we don't recommend ANYONE use those.

So we just use the flash manager, on the laptop we want to continue to flash with, to get the system ID right? Instead of pcmflash, we use p5f? Is that all it is?

vF Tuner software is scheduled to be updated tomorrow, and then it's only wrapping up definition work for ECU support.

1. You can select Dongle Trade In if you have traded in your original programming dongle (purple or mini black). This is NOT the OBDII device.
2. This software is NOT required for 2.0.
3. This software is NOT a required purchase.
4. This software is completely optional
5. Flash kit owners who do purchase can choose to have (2) tunes we have designed for them to be unlocked and accessed by vF Tuner. Any version that we still have in our database. (nothing older than 1.03)
6. If you decide to order, do NOT email us. We will email you an automated email with all of your information including the software, your master key (this is not tied to a pc), etc.
7. I am only posting this here so we can provide flash kit owners early access, and ensure all who want it are setup and going before we open to new customers.

For the dongle trade in. I'm assuming we send a ticket to zendesk first? I have two Tacoma's tied to my dongle license. I did send an email today to get the details on information that needs to be provided.

Appreciate everything you've done with the tune. Can't wait for 2.0 final.
