My first move would be get an estimate on what your current vessel needs. Might be the best move in all, and if you decide to upgrade you've got a nice easy sale in the Boulder.

I was soo bummed when my range closed! I’m usually the only one there when I go, I was looking forward to some range time now that I have some free time.

I pretty much know. The sprockets, derailleurs, and chain are pretty new and in good shape. Brakes could use new pads, one pedal is damaged so those should be replaced, and the tires have cracks from dry rot. If I put those things into it, it'd be fine. I'd lean toward selling it, honestly. I want something lighter and with disc brakes.

Could still be cheap..I could guess what it would run for my bike but I'm riding BMX so two different animals there, although depending on which bike it could get pricey for mine

disc or rim brakes? Pads like 20 bucks. Pedals about 50 for decent set. Tires about 40 each again for a decent or good set. So all in about 150. Not terrible.

bmx is easy everything is so over engineered.

Big S&w guy myself. Picked this one up last year and haven’t even shot it yet. I shot .45 in competition up here in Maine but it is hard to compete against the young guys who move like lightning.A7A050D3-653C-441D-A93B-E577AE720012.jpg

Inherited my uncle's gun a Sig and his accessories. Can't imagine he carried often as I have his ankle holster and even in baggy pants you can tell something is there. Going to have to figure something else out.

Rim brakes, unfortunately. That's about what I figured on cost for parts. It's all easy stuff for me to do myself too.

depends how much you ride. I for one would ditch it for a setup with disc brakes for better control on the trails for my hard tail, and my gravel will be used in rain and snow to run the dog so I’ll want to have discs. But there’s really nothing wrong with v brakes for the average joe. Hell, my gravel will have mechanical discs to start off with. They come with them and I like the idea of trying them. No giant hills to boil the fluid around here and I won’t be using it like a MTB so don’t need the modulation and control. We’ll see if I don’t like them I’ll just chuck a set of shimanos on there.

but I am a bike guy and have to remember not everyone is a bike guy and just wants “an bike” that “works”.

That's true, but for basically the same price for the m&p + trigger kit you can get a sig that you don't have to modify to make the trigger not feel like its range of motion is lined with sandpaper.
