Hi, I currently own a 05 dbl cab prerunner and it came with 20 inch rims from the previous owner. And the problem is that I wanted to purchase a 3 inch lift kit that says it could fit 32x11.5 OR 33X10.5. The only problem is that the tires that I found are 285/50/20 and I wanted to know if they are the same size? or am I going to have to go for a bigger lift?
Oh I forgot to mention that the 285/50/20 are Nitto Terra A/T

They might vary a little in height, most do from brand to brand. The 285s will have a narrow sidewall and will not protect your wheels when or if you go off-road. The 20" wheel will take up alot of your sidewall.

I dont go off-road that often maybe once a month or so. I mostly just go to the beach with the truck and have fun in the sand.(I plan to purchase a quad soon) Oh and I wanted to purchase the lift-kit from Toytec as they seem to have a good reputation with the majority on the forum.

How am I doing so far? Am I making wise decisions based on my needs? Or is that tire size with the 3 inch lift not going to cut it? I dont want to waste a bunch of money and later on come to the surprise that I messed up something and then everything is wrong.

Thanx for the great input! I really appreciate it.

I think you can get a 4" spindle lift for your truck, that tire is basically the same size as mine but on a 20" wheel.
