Did something to some pictures of the truck...

Oooh or Eeew? Thinking of adding some black LineX on sections of the body and red LineX on the side view mirrors for design/appearance and protection purposes for later in the future.

It’ll really look like a life sized Hot Wheels toy, I think. o_O

I'm ignorant. Why did you need a second actuator?

I received my Full Length Bed Molle Panels today from @CaliRaisedLed and the install was pretty simple. Now I can start attaching things to them that I don't want in the cab or don't want to forget at home. I couldn't be happier with them!

Tailgate opener! Not lock. Can open the tailgate with a bush of a button. A great idea I like it!!!!

The black one that comes with the kit is too weak to pull the latches. KTJO recommended the blue one from Amazon but after installing it today it still wouldn't pull the latches so I modified the original actuator to use the bracket from the blue actuator for twice the pulling power.

I did as well but not sure if I would redo as a kit. The actuators are dirt cheap on Amazon and mounting is simple. The brain of the system which mounts in the cab under the passengers kick panel allows a pushbutton to be installed with a safety to insure the truck is in park. That is the more expensive part.

That’s a good idea. And I was thinking wiring it to a switch in the truck even might be an idea. Switch on and unlock twice to open tailgate. So wouldn’t open when you unlock the passenger door every time you need the passenger door open in a parking lot

Great idea; that would be super easy! I have the gate lock as well as the topper lock and tapped the opener into those. It is a super simple mod.

A couple days ago I hauled (11) 80 lb bags of Quikrete and besides from a little squat in the rear I didn't even notice they were back there.
