    not anchored. its wedged in pretty snug. never had an issue. the bed has holes and stainless bolts I can use in case I need to though, with the center box weight reduction. but I don't think I'll need to cuz I only fill the drawers on trips and I load the top of the box also.

    Yea, the tray is removable. It bolts to the 1x3 tube. I used 2 van trays. Left and right. Link below. The roof rack one you went would be the easiest way to do it. Just weld on two legs and attach the roof rack. But I wanted to go a different route.

    Yep Alcan builds each set specifically for your vehicle, you give them details about your truck and what you carry, rear or after market bumper, RTT, etc. and they recommend a certain load rating over stock for your new leaf springs based on your answers to the questions.
    I ended up getting these built for 350# over stock and 3" of lift, with shipping to CA and u-bolts it came out to just under $900
