Yes you could run them with a stock spring. Also aal is “add a leaf”. Best budget lift that can actually improve handling. May also want to look into old man emu, or fox 2.0’s as other “budget” friendly options. Essentially those last two are the next cheapest options (if memory serves me)

Quite the complete kit. Diff drop, bump stop and skidplate spacers etc.
Looks like everything you would need for a block lift.
With it being Aluminum blocks you'll have to check torque periodically, especially in the back.
Front ride on the street won't be affected a huge amount, but the back end you may notice is more skiddish.
3" on the front without UCA's is kind of on the limit for getting good alignment numbers... so bumpy roads and cornering is not going to be as much fun.
You may have to "stretch" your cv boots so they don't rub but that's an easy fix.

If you HAVE to do a block lift I'd keep it to a 2/1. Just my opinion no major science.

Now as to my thoughts on block lifts....

I could prattle about how on the rear the shock will be extended so not as much droop and jouncing will become an issue.
A big block on the back increases the flex on the leafs during accel/decell (wheel hop/vibes)
    Blah blah blah...

Yes they work and they are cheap.
Not as bad as the purists would lead you to believe....

    But

put on a pair of these, and remember this would be the equivalent to a block lift in footwear. ...

    LMAO
    Love the boots!
Yes I have to agree but seeing as I am new to the "brand" I have to ask the noob (stupid) questions.
I think it's gonna be 5100's front and rear with an AAL.
But Goddamn then Falcons look nice......

I am not too sure. I went with a replacement pack. Running Dakar pack by old man emu.

OME, Deaver and Icon all make AAL leaf kits for the Tacoma, generally in the 1.5-2" range. I ranked them in accending order for smoothness and price.

The stock shocks are horrible so anything else will be an improvement, all depends on your budget....

Anyone have input on what OME coils I should get? Figure my bumper adds about 100lbs to the front of my truck. Not sure which ones to order. Looking for anywhere from 2.5” to 3”

After some light (not light at all) research I ended up ordering the 883s. Should be good.

yup plus 100+lb bumper and possibly a winch in the future. From what I gathered the 883s are for 3” lift for 100lbs extra and the 882s are for 150lbs+ extra, 3” lift. The 883s sounded like the ticket. I would have grabbed the 882s but I can’t find them anywhere to be shipped from Canada. Should be good though.

Hmmm, I’ve got the 883s coming for 287 and free shipping from BC. If it’s a better deal I’ll jump on it.

    Just my .02.
I just put on about 2 weeks ago 887.
Arb front bumper and an old heavy winch with syn. Line not cable. Was already there.

After a week I'd guess it saged .75 to 1 inch.
I'd rides a little to soft for my liking but hey whatever.

On kijiji there is a set of brand new 887 selling for 200 bones I'd get them.
Ypur going to get a winch and it will sag.

2nd gen and 1st gens are different so I can’t run anything past 883 or I’ll get like 4”+ of lift. The front ends of 2nd gens are way heavier than 1st.
