    @toyotahenry -

If they are offering $35,600 plus rebates from an MSRP of $42,669, I think thats one of the best deals I've seen. 19%?
(I think current rebates are $1500?)

My guess would be $35,600 includes the current $1,500 rebate, which means the price would actually be ($35,600 + $1,500). Rebate doesn't just knock that amount off the price... You're still getting about 15% off MSRP. Still a pretty good deal!

I don't know what "Drive our price $38,259" means. Typical dealership tactic to list 3 different prices.

Based on the 128 pages of this thread, I looked for 13-15% of MSRP BEFORE rebates.

*Sorry if this is confusing to read, I'm decent at Math and English. Not mathematical english.

I made a mistake! The rebate has already been included in the price.

    Thank you

Going to be getting into a 2020 this month most likely. The 2016 version of this thread helped me tremendously! I've read this whole thread and I'm on page 119 so not sure if someone has already mentioned the time specificity of this yet, but especially with current circumstances it would be very helpful if everyone would post:
    1. What they traded in(year, make, model).
    2. How much they got on the trade.
    3. Kelly Blue Book trade value.

A little ways back someone posted an article about how the used cars are piling up right now, which totally makes sense to me. It would be helpful to have some current real world data on the effect of this on trade value.

Truly, trade info should be standard in addition to the MSRP vs. Pre TTL sale price but understandably its difficult to get people to standardize forum procedures. I will say that compared to 2016, the amount of people not posting the OTD price is WAY better. And when I tried to use this tactic to help my parents in law buy a RAV4........Those forums are a shitshow. But they definitely were still effective in helping me gauge pricing.

Also, are Toyota's sales quarters the same as regular calendar year quarters? Meaning the end of 2020 Q1 was March?

    Thanks all!

So far I've got Katzkin leather seats, Predator bars, TRD Pro exhaust w/black tip, and black overlays.

What should I do next? I've been bitten by the bug.

Meso dome lights and map lights if they’re ever in stop. Or just switch you interior lights to led. Door sills. Bed mat. Tonneau cover. Some all weather mats. The options are endless lol

I think they already did Barcelona red in the pros. They were great looking. I’m hoping Quicksand is the next pro color.

I emailed a dealer who offered me 40k and 45k out the door. I asked for 36,500 figured Id get a counter of 37 or 38. I wana max out at 40 out the door. He didn't counter with anything. Said out the door 45 was the best he could do. Its so close to a PRO, and its a manual im looking at, that Im going to pass.

I've been shopping around, debating on whether or not it was feasible to jump back to a Tacoma from my current Tundra. I've gotten some decent prices on the new truck, but not all dealers are willing to do much on trade. I came across a TRD Sport DCSB 4x4 that has Premium package (leather seats, dual climate, JBL, moonroof), Tech package, LED headlights/LED foglights, tonneau, all weather mats and door sill protectors, and a couple of other things. Actually all things that I would end up adding myself. MSRP is $45,386 and they came down to $39,500 after rebate, so 13% off. I might could haggle a couple hundred more off, but they're giving a good bit more for my trade than anyone else would, so I feel really good about it. They also agreed to throw in a bed mat for free. With that truck being exactly what I want, I couldn't pass it up. It has everything I wanted and nothing that I don't want, so I have a deposit down and they're holding the truck until I can pick it up next week! :yay::bananadance:

Well originally I was quoted like 33k for 2020 white 4x4 off road and I was like yeah it’s nice and so is black and he said I could try to get you that one for 35 then we drove it and it went back and forth from 38ish but I kept telling him he told me 35 and we ended up on 36,900. A very late deal too. Left the dealer at 10:30 pm

Exactly. Get some money off the truck first, but if I doesn’t go that way then do little mods they’ll keep you happy.

I have to say I'm pretty surprised at all the people buying right now. The economy just shed 22 million jobs in a matter of weeks, and I have to say I do not have a lot of faith in the next year or two. I kind of want to sit on my cash unless it's an absolutely smokin' deal. I'd rather keep my powder dry.
