Sure is. I used to go there with my gunny on weekends and fish. Beautiful lake.
Pretty sure I still have a ticket stub or two from there in my desk.

One of these stole my rod and reel, was waist deep in between trout cove and jacks creek before I reached and barely caught the butt of the pole. He was roughly 4.5lbs

 

You have more energy than I. When I get called out at 2am I always think. "I might die" lol.

An exaggeration obviously but still. I ain't getting out bed at 2 to fail at fishing nunya style.

I love this! Accept what you aint good at and sleep in if you decide to do it. That's Nunya style.

 

Only reason I was keeping these ones were, they are stocked and technically illegal to release once caught (don't care about that), most die off in the lower elevation lakes becuse water gets to warm and algae blooms, and I knew a few families that needed them. I called them "trout cash" .

Always have been. I lost most of my pics though. I used to go every Saturday and Sunday and take my son. He would run off and play and explore while I fished with my brother and a few friends. Did this for just about 3 years until a few run ins with helicopter parents and law enforcement that seem to think free range parenting is bad.
