So after looking for a long time and many hours of research on a sub choice. I found this little sub that fits perfectly in the tray behind the rear passenger seat in a 2nd Gen DC. No cutting or modding, besides the wires. This thing pounds! Was a bit skeptical at first, but after I read the reveiws I pulled the trigger. If your looking for a powered sub without having to remove or cut out your storage trays this is the sh*t. Im running it with a pioneer avph 4200, and I have it running at about 25% power. Even the guys at best buy who installed it were scratching their heads about how loud and clean it sounded. Seriously for the money ($227 Shipped with 3 year warranty and an amp wiring kit) and how compact it is you cant beat it! No I dont work for the company either. Prob should have put this in the audio section, sorry.

Dont think it will fit under the seat in a second gen with the air bag sensor wires. I made a mock up out of card board and played with where all i could fit it. Trust me when i tell you, you dont want this under your seat, its pretty powerful! Maybe under the passenger side for your girl.

I bought the same thing and it is hooked up to a pioneer 3200dvd. It is pretty good, decent bottom end for my listening tastes.

To the other posts I do not think it will fit under the front seats. At least I could not get it to.

instead of taking out the crossbar, have you tried flipping it upside down, that way you can keep the integrity of the seat in tact....i don't know if it matters that much., but thats what i did.

probably a stupid question but do you have to take out the whole seat to flip the cross bar?

Yep, because with the seat in place the center console prohibits access to one of the screws. You'll need a Torx bit to remove the screws on each side of the seat. Sorry, I don't remember the size Torx bit but it's a common size.

Nice. Can you give me details about the rest of your setup?

I'm running stock audio, thinking of upgrading everything.
