    That about sums up what's most popular here.
    With the addition of yellow power bait.

    Oftentimes, I'll use a clear water bobber, half full so I can cast really far out, further than most everyone else.
    The line slides freely through the bobber, for those who don't know what I mean.
    Six foot leader with a tiny split shot at upper end of leader, so the wet fly or grub (real grub) hangs almost weightless about 6 feet down from the surface.
    A wooly bugger fly or nightcrawler (not air injected) works with that method too.

    That's how I caught the 6 pounders...the big ones patrol further out from the bank.
