Yeah, got down to 29 here, but that should be it.
If you can believe the extended forecast...

The little fuckers have been in my garden too.
Mrs Gritto bought me a Crossman Pumpmaster for Christmas years ago as a gag.
Little did she know it would be useful.
The one I had as a kid had a wood stock....new ones have plastic.

You can sting 'em real good with a BB.
Hard to kill them though with their tough hides.
Got my .22 if they don't take the hint.

I tried something similar one year during a drought and the squirrels were stealing my apples.
Got a gallon of tabasco sauce and sprayed the apples.
I found that recommendation on the internet...must be true, right?

    Didn't work.

    'Morning all!!

Weapon of choice for trout right now:

9' 5 weight flyrod, 9-10' 5X tippet, size 14 Hares Ear nymph, Bead Head Pheasant Tail, or shorten the leader up switch to 4X and toss a size 12 weighted Wooly Bugger in the deeper faster sections.

Meh, that Crossman isn't accurate enough for my taste.

If I intend to kill them, I go with this.
Marlin 39A with Williams peep sight.

Technically, my neighbors are too close.
But I always shoot groundhogs and squirrels from the MB balcony overlooking the rear yard and garden.
    Down into the dirt.

My neighbors are cool, they're country people.
Besides, a long barrelled .22 rifle isn't very loud.
A single shot and people are like Huh? [shrugs].
Repeat shots might draw unwanted attention.

My .556 Hebrew Hammer is fun to shoot, but without ear protection it's a ear killer.
