Maybe I'll order some parts and fix it up. I figure I could sell it for pretty close to the cost of the parts I'd put into it if I wanted to anyway. It'd give me something else to do!

LOL we're desperate for things to keep us busy now. Brake pads, tires, and pedals - that takes me about 15 minutes :D :D PS the left pedal is reverse threaded!

True, and don't get me wrong, a Sig is a great gun. I mostly do a trigger job on all of my pistols no matter what I get. It makes me take it apart and build the mental and muscle memory of all of the internal workings. I just love the reliability, the feel, the handle modularity, and the amount of accessories you can get for the M&P 2.0 though. For me it is a win win.

Yup, I got bored yesterday and changed my other sillcock valve, which also took about 15 minutes. I didn't do them both the same day because then I'd have one less thing to keep me busy later.

I'm just about to the point where I would need to make Home Depot runs to get paint and some other things to get some projects done, and I really don't want to right now. When they reversed their opinion on face masks, I decided I'm just not going to any stores until everything dies down.

    https://jalopnik.com/the-ford-ranger-now-offers-a-825-factory-tune-up-to-32-1842906961

I saw this today, even though I'm basically over Jalopnik these days.

I wish Toyota would do something like this for the 3G, although I don't know how much is still on the table being NA. I know the aftermarket probably has similar solutions with higher power numbers, but the idea that it's got a factory backed warranty is brilliant. I'd leave some power on the table to keep things above board. Granted, when I had my Subaru I bought my AccessPort and downpipe through the dealer using my Subaru credit card points, but that's a story for another day.

I'm with you. There are plenty of things I want for around the house projects (paint, fertilizer, soil) but it feels irresponsible to be out. I understand the science, probability, etc, but that being said, it just feels wrong. I have a cousin who works at HD and just got tested as she's got all the symptoms, so yeah. I am going out for quotes for some tree removal and fence replacement, but I figure those items are very hands-off.

Those numbers aren't all that far off from the 2.7 in my F-150 and the Ranger weighs about 700 lbs less. It's got to be quick!

I've used Instacart a couple of times and honestly think that's how everything should be handled right now. The general public shouldn't be in the grocery store. Devote cashiers, baggers, etc. to collecting and delivering. Lessens the risk dramatically for everyone. My mom works for Stop & Shop and she agrees since they'd just be interacting with co-workers and not customers.

So glad I don't have to deal with the MA trigger. My modern S&W's are about as good as you can get from polymer. But the 5906 & 19-3 both have almost perfect triggers from the factory; like glass-on-glass. And the reset on the 5906 in SA mode is so short...it's freaking amazing to shoot. Only thing I don't love about it is the mag disconnect.

    Edit- Trigger reset:

Mine is an older elongated trigger guard model, but the reset is the same.

The thing to worry about there is your employees now being drivers, and insurance and training needed there. o_O

I think a few stores around here suspended the grocery deliveries because of the unsustainable demand when this all started.

On the M&P 2.0 model? Really.....huh...I didn't think it was that bad at all from the factory. I tested it at 5.96 lb's when I bought it from the factory before I put the Apex in. Then I was able to get it down to 4.73lb's. Some people don't like the cantilever trigger aspect of it. I do prefer the solid trigger but I was still ok with it.

The M&P 9 & 40's I shot had terrible triggers. It took a stupid amount of pressure to depress the trigger, and it was like the action was full of sand. Plus the length was ridiculous. By the time it actually went bang the changes of your front sights actually still pointing where you started were nil.

Maybe it was the first gen ones, i don't know. All i know is the MA compliant triggers were steaming piles of shit on an otherwise decent firearm. Effectively turning them into turds out of the box.

Agreed on the MA compliance triggers for the most part. The difference between the first and sec gens were night and day.

As a relatively new firearms owner (not that I haven't been around and using them for years) a G43 is the only pistol I own, but I've also got a Ruger AR, and a Mossberg bolt action to do some hunting with. VT is an awesome place to own a few guns, except for our magazine capacity limits (15 for pistol and 10 for long guns), if it's legal at the federal level, it is here. We have no licensing, no carry (open or concealed) permit, suppressors are legal (just have to comply with the ATF regs), etc. It's not out of place (especially during hunting season) to walk into a convenience store and half of the patrons have a pistol on their belt, at least out here in the sticks where we live.

Even after that, the roads are soft. I've been up there on Memorial Day and still found some pretty soupy roads. Had to pick your line pretty carefully to avoid rutting them up.
