So i recently picked up a set of 265/75r16 Yokohama Geolander A/T

im toren the guy sold me rims and tires for sweet deal so i took both

orginally i wanted to keep my trd offroads and just throw the tires on those but i was unloading them and put them next to my truck and thought hey should ask tw what they think

the rims are 16x8 american racing polished aluminum im debating on keepin them poslished or powder coating

i really want black wheels and i know how the trd ones look and they look nice too

i was wondering if i could have someone photoshop the rims onto my truck one picture with polished rims and the other picture with the rims black so i kinda get a feel for what it's gonna look like when im done if i was to go this route

i took a couple pictures to try and help with the photoshop for whoever may do it

I say the American Racing wheels polished or powder coated black just because I like that look over the stockers.

install them as is and see how you like it, if you dont, then go ahead and powder coat.... but seriously, black wheels are getting more and more played out by the day. i remember when black wheels use to make a truck stand out from the rest, but now its as if you need to go with polished aluminum (or something similar) to make your truck stand out. JMO...

+1-just don't do ANYTHING and you'll stick out like a one-legged grape stomper:D IMO Americans need to stay polished. Black out the stocks but don't ruin the classic look of the As

not a prerunner, but here's an xrunner with some bronze wheels... (see attachments)

Someone posted those pics on here, thought they looked good so i saved them..

or just polish and shine up the ones you have...

they could end up looking pretty good..

I have a somewhat similiar style wheel polished on my truck:
