Installed some color matched bumper caps. Cement is a hard shade to match!

Has there been any tests with Tacos as to any braking distance improvements by upgrading to rear disc brakes?

    Love the new rubber!
Any rubbing or issues? How about speedo calibration, is that necessary for that small of a change?

Thinking about it, a spacer won’t help the place where it rubs on the front mud flap. When the wheels are turned hard to the side the corner of the flap that sticks slightly in to the wheel well makes contact. Rubs is maybe too strong of a word too, lightly brushes maybe? It’s the arc of the wheels turn that’s causing the rub not height.

In any event it’s going to look better once it’s lifted (2” front and rear). If it rubs less in parking lots, all the better.

Right, the purpose of the spacer for me is correct the "Taco lean" .

Installed the Pedal Commander this morning (it took about 2 minutes).

After a quick ride my first impression is mixed. I do like that I can control it using an app via Bluetooth, this way it can stay hidden behind the dash. I will say that driving this truck in Sport mode does feel better than without it, even if it is just increased pedal sensitivity. Super Sport mode is not usable in it's default setting, with just a millimeter of pedal movement, the truck launches forward. Anyway, I'm sure it can be dialed back using the + - settings / I don't see myself using that mode.

I will run this thing through my daily routine/commute for a week or two before I decide if the increased pedal response is worth the expense. I'll report back after I have some miles under my belt with this installed.

For those looking for the TRD Sport/Off Road License plate brackets.

    Off Road
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GQ4QG5J/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_RmEMEb6E90WV5

    Sport
    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NBDJQK1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_cmEMEb005RBVC

I believe this is the original vendor that brought these to the market too.

I prefer these over all my previous license plate brackets.
Plastic, but the design and finish is better than my previous metal bracket which rusted away...

Also, these specifically appear to have their design based on the 3rd gen Tacomas.
