I think anyone who buys vf will be super happy with the single torque map by itself, which is probably part of vf right off the bat.

Also the webinar he did for the Lexus, he made power and then made that tune available as a sample tune, i think some are way over thinking this.

The man is running a business to make money. He wouldn't do it in such a way that he would lose money. I think everyone will be happy with it.

I, like many others, waited too late to buy this "flash kit", and missed out (Nobody's fault but mine). Being my daily driver, that I drive 100 mile round trip everyday, I was hesitant on changing tunes on my truck. Now, forgive me for asking what may be a dumb question that has already been answered. Does this mean we just wait, and more of these VF Tuners will be available at a later date? I just want to make sure I know what's going on, and don't miss out again (Life seems to keep me away from the truck stuff at times). I definitely appreciate all the work you all have done making this kit possible. I don't see myself trying to play custom tuner by any means. I'll gladly try an example tune first. It's gotta be better than the stock one.

*I've seen how much help this forum can be between members. I'm hoping one of y'all 2.0 folks might be from down in ole Alabama somewhere, if I do get my hands on the tuner. Thanks again!!!

So do we need this new Vf thing to continue using our flash kit? Or can we continue to use our original stuff to switch between tunes? This vf is just for making and editing tunes we already have?

There is no need to get vF to continue using your existing Flash Kit for 1.05 and 2.0 tunes or getting support for those. This is just the next step for OVT.

You can use what you have for whats currently available.

vf is for creating and modifying tunes.

Yes. Flash Kit Dongle and Dongleless only.

I'm sure that OVT will work it out with you.

I will update the post! :bananadead:

Hey all, been away for a while, but should be home next week. What is the most recent tune? My flash manager is showing 1.05.1 and 2.0.X.EROM, but neither will download.

Flash kit owners can unlock our tunes for their own use.
There will be enough control in the software to ruin your drivetrain if you really want to try to.

Nope. I'm hoping common sense plays a big factor.
however the software does have built in controls so you can't put outrageous values, or values like "500" in the VVT advance and cause the piston to hit a valve.
