It is on him, but he is a new rider. As I said it was his first time in Pisgah. But yeah, it's just my opinion that they are garbage, you dont have to agree.

I do like the looks of it. Idk if I’ll throw it in the ring for my bike search but at $3k that would leave some room to throw some i9s on it at the price of most other bikes with lower level drivetrain

The problem with the E13 tires was that they were just too hard of a compound, he has since switched to Maxxis per my recommendation. But again, just glad to see YT wised up and started using DT Swiss and Maxxis instead of E13

I’m running DHF/DHR2 right now (my mom does too), but I’m about ready for a new rear. Might check the aggressor out next

Cool man, well tell her I think it's the best rear tire on the market, but if she has any questions, she already has my number.

That's the combo I have on my mojo3, but I'm looking for some new 27.5x2.6's to try. The Minions are excellent in really rocky/gnarly terrain, but most of what I'm riding in NC simply doesn't qualify as such. I'm having a tough time deciding what tires to try next.

Yep, crazy good deal if you're local to Fanatik. Thats a fun bike that is less of a one trick pony than i thought it would be.

Hence my frustration with E13. We got him new Maxxis at The Hub and I gave him some old valve stems I had. So it won't happen again.

And then staggered away after properly re-hydrating.

I would just say that a bad tire isn't really cause to drag the wheelset or a company as a whole. Not that I have any skin in the game.

I'm already on a new bike but if i wasn't i would probably be headed to pick one up. Big S gets a bad rap from the cool kids but the latest Stumpy is a great bike.
