The Pro really should have the V8 out of the Tundra. Might actually justify the price increase over the Offroad.

Do not miss a full size truck in the slightest.

Bought the Tacoma for my wife to drive. It's fun to dive occasionally, but I definitely would not give up my 6.7 Powerstoke for one.

Along with the suspension off of the Raptor.

I wouldn't want to use the Raptor for truck stuff.

I have had several full size trucks over the years a F250 last. Though the full size trucks have more room the Tacoma is perfect for me.

That makes sense- I've seen consistently 17-22 in the Tacoma with high's around 25 so about what I was hoping for if not better. It's still pretty cold here too...

I came from a 2016 2500 Duramax. That will probably always be my favorite truck to drive on the highway and look at (hella torque and got better mileage on the highway than my Tacoma by about 2-3 mpg and having an exhaust break was awesome) but having to park it in a parking garage in a city sucked and the Tacoma is very easy to drive, park, wash. I have owned two Tacomas previously and have had nothing but great experiences with them and probably will keep mine for a while and if my circumstances ever change, buy another diesel sometime in the distant future and keep the Tacoma as a DD.

Edit: When my Tacoma was bone stock I was matching MPG on the highway of my previous truck but the offset of my diesel getting 12-13 mpg consistently around town offset the mpg delta on the highway LOL

I actually didn’t “trade” but did sell it to the dealer after I made my deal on my Tacoma. Regardless of “term” I lost my butt! Lol. I took a $7k hit but I had $15k equity in the 19 so I made the move as I didn’t see the valuation getting any better over the next couple years.

Stepped from a 08 Ford Expedition to a 2017 DCSB, while the expedition was not a "truck" it was for sure full size. Noticed my fuel bill went down about 20%, and I actually enjoy my Taco. Other than being able to load up 8 people in the expedition there is nothing I miss about it.

I moved from a 2019 Ranger to a 2019 F150 for my company vehicle. I must admit that I like the room and drivability of the full size truck much better. The F150 Crew Cab is so easy to drive that my grandmother would feel comfortable behind the wheel. I have a company fuel card and this damn thing gets way better mileage than my personal Tacoma (3.5 naturally aspirated V6). Right around 25 mpg.

I can get more than 25mpgs with Tacoma in 13 miles and 15 mins. Which by the way means average speed was ~50mph.

Not in the least beyond the sounds a Hemi makes when you put your foot in it. That truck was a piece of shit though.

    Pretty much this.

I ended up downsizing our travel trailer as well (35' to 16') but my family enjoys it a lot more and the payment, parking, and fun off-road are exceptional vs the Behemoth.

THIS! Mine is 6 speed manual which I won't get in a full size so makes it worth it.

I had a 2006 Tacoma for 12 years, was a great truck, never any issues. I decided to get a full size truck for my retirement present to myself. I bought a 2018 custom build from the factory F-150 with the 5.0 V-8. It had about everything on it you could put on a truck. $46,000 out the door ( including all the aftermarket additions). I loved the size, comfort, leg room, everything until all the engine noises showed up. It had the Decel Rattle. It had a whistle noise coming from the AC system. It had a LOUD knocking sound at idle when engine was fully warmed up ( no one could tell me what was causing the sound). The dealer and FORD said all of this was normal for the 5.0. Bull Shit, it didn't make any of the noises new until it hit about 6000 miles. Many owners on the F-150 forum were also complaining about the noises with no solutions. So I got to worrying about the reliability and longevity of this engine. I could not sleep at night worrying about it and wandering did I make a bad decision going with a Ford. I could not keep making payments on a gas truck that sounded like a diesel. So I decided to give up all the comforts of a full size truck and go back to ol reliable. Yes it's tough getting used to the smaller size, I feel like I'm sitting in a car, it's so low, but I know this truck will last and that makes me sleep a lot better at night. I plan on lifting it a bit and adding AT tires.

Ouch. I hope the depreciation hit didn’t hurt your pocketbook too bad.

Yup, same as a lot of others, I miss the power of the big V8....I get the same gas mileage with the Tacoma too! I had a reg. cab short bed, two wheel drive with lots of mods including a lowering kit. Really liked the truck but traded it for a Vette. Bought a Jeep but missed a pick up. The Tacoma fit in my garage easily and since I couldn't find another Tundra like I had...I went with the Tacoma. No regrets, great truck, miss the power and dislike the constant searching for a gear because of it. Would I buy another....you bet.
