Already had that thought. It sounded like everyone around me was running a generator. I haven't been in AR for a year yet and been without power for multiple days twice. I'm saving to get rid of most of the trees on my property right now.

Buy a wood burning stove and sounds like you’ll have plenty of fuel for it!

Already have a fireplace. Most of the trees are pine, so not the best for firewood from everything I know.

This lockdown has been great for my to do list on the rig. So far I’ve done a new rear main, rear cam caps, transfer case input seal, front axle seals, serviced all drivetrain fluids, fuel filter, header back exhaust, new skids, both front wheel bearings, and new shifter bushings! I need to spend some time in the mountains now to celebrate the completion of my check list.

That's not the one I was thinking of but all of them I've watched are good. They even have my wife wanting to go ride some trails. I would just prefer one where there's NOT a mud hole so bad I rip a tire off the rim.

Most runs they do are impossible without lockers, but having to winch 4 vehicles out of bogs every 50 yds doesnt sound like fun. There was one vid where Shaun rolled the dirty thirty, they set it back on it's feet and kept going. Yes, those guys are nuts.

    Yeah.
OHHH, got slapped by The Bob himself!

I didn't know it was a violation either, but probably does violate the CoC in some way. I think you can use a PM to share those, just not in a public space.

    Yeah.
I'm guessing "spam or spam-like" -- the link probably set off an alarm that went to Bob. It's to avoid people popping in here to promote their stuff and not really contributing anything. Most of the vacations are given to people that try to post stuff for sale that haven't hit the 50 post mark.

I think we all know you were just trying to spread some love, but the mods don't know you and have to apply the rules consistently.

Was hoping for a good camping weekend, but bleh.

Yeeeah, like Rich said, mods won't know anyone in threads they aren't active in themselves. Probably hit a filter, got checked, and a response given. By him responding in the thread about some rule, we all now know.

That said, it costs $0 to be nice, especially on the internet, and his response was straight to the point without consideration for trying to sound nice. Must deal with a bunch of jerks elsewhere on the forum, if I were to guess...:anonymous:

Um, yeah, they do for sure. I can fill you in on some shenanigans some time, not here, though.
