Basically, what you're seeing people complaining about a long pull and a sandpaper trigger, that's basically MA compliant.

Massachusetts in case you're wondering if there's an MA acronym somewhere in there :p

    Long pull and high resistance.

Yep. Apparently people with arthritis are too dangerous to own a gun.

But is it "legal" to "fix" the problem once you own it?

Dunno. I don't live in Mass, so I'm not familiar with their laws.

Yes, you can fix it once you own it. I believe it's a CMR which means it's just regulation of new products sold meant to protect consumers. Once you buy your firearm which is deemed safe and compliant by the State, you fix the trigger and resell it. I believe you can also build your own with a hair trigger, just can't be sold new that way in MA.

So...makes them feel all warm and gooey inside but realistically does nothing. Sweeeeet. :D

Currently own zero weapons, considering getting a hand gun (open carry) for when I'm in the woods, have come across some interesting animals so far, want to have something in case I come across something a bit more interesting, just in case. Might look at the laws for open carry a pellet gun too, don't need more than that most of the time in the woods.

Might look at small game hunting too so that means hunting rifle/shotgun too. Don't know most of the rules and laws, but I don't want anything high mag etc etc etc yaddah yaddah.

They'd also rather you didn't hit whatever you're aiming at. For safety. #doitforthekids

Sounds like you need a gun that'll do it all. Desert Eagle 0.50 is what you want. :infantry:

Pellet gun is more likely to wound than anything else. At least use a real firearm, even if it just .22 or some other small caliber.

I have a Ruger Single Six Convertible with 6" barrel. Yes, it's a wheel gun.
Has .22 and .22 Mag cylinders.
Carried this when I hunted Pa. and Vt., and a lot lighter than the .44 I used to carry.

I want one of those like nobodies business! I have no reason to own one, I just want one!
.22 mag will do some pretty decent damage also, that's nothing to scoff at. Obviously not like that Dirty Harry hand cannon, but it'd get the job done with most things you'd come across around these parts.

    lol. Maybe.

swans. One tussled with my dog. I was about ready to jump on the swamp and break the little bastards neck before my dog was able to get an edge and won. Also I’m right on the border mass and R.I. so it might be easier to cross state lines with that. There’s some pretty strong pellet guns too.

Yup. Both my glocks were bought second hand, one from a forum member. Since in MA they are not available for sale (new) unless you're a LEO

They had an all gold one at the shop by me the other day. It was something crazy like $3500

Shop near me had one, regular silver color and it was similar in price. Apparently, I draw the line at gold colored as far as being ridiculous and unnecessary.

I need a range that allows that. Options are thin south of Boston
