No I haven’t messed with it yet, the weather isn’t the best where I’m at right now. I really just want to get the volume working again, but am not looking forward to pulling the head out again since I’m not that great with electrical

Not me. I retired in mid-February. About a week into retirement I installed my front camera. A couple weeks prior to retirement I installed a Garmin dash cam to my OEM GoPro mount using my custom mounting solution. A week after the front camera installation all of this CoronaVirus stuff started getting serious. About that same time I installed the OEM power tailgate lock kit. Now I'm running out of "truck stuff" to do, but I've been considering installing hood struts . . .

Congratulations on the retirement! I've got about 48 years left

and now you're "tech support" on TW hahahaha

I installed the Redline struts.. Super straight forward install (use an auto sprung-pilot punch) and they are way convenient

Update, got everything working correctly with my kit, I’m pretty happy with it overall and excited to test it out more. I got a pro grill from taco garage as well that looks awesome and I couldn’t be more stoked on so I definitely recommend grabbing one of those from them. There’s a chance I’ll change the camera down the road if I decide to be nit picky

Let's see some pics! One of the grille... another of the camera on the grille... then a shot of the head unit showing the front camera image!

Love the way the pro grill completely changes the look! You have to really look to see the grinding I did to get the camera to sit flush and be in the middle of the grill

That's great! But you can't just leave us hanging like that . . .
What was the solution to the volume issue?

I honestly didn’t do anything! It just randomly started working after a couple of drives and has been working fine since

Hmmm... probably a flaky connection. Hopefully it doesn't act up on you again anytime soon.

Thanks! I love how much it improved the look, makes me wish I would have done it years ago

Easy peezy, ran camera through fresh air slot and drilled a hole through the front cover flap... everything tucked up nicely and routed much faster than I thought....

hardest thing of the whole install was tucking the wires out of the back of the headunit for reinstall

Long part of the whole install was wiring everything securely and consolidating and tucking excess wire from camera

    Shitty iPhone photos sorry

This looks really slick. I'm interested in a 2020 kit, but will wait for someone to post their install experience before buying it.
