the reflector is mounted on the original rotating shaft but was geared to be driven by a worm gear that was mounted perpendicular to the shaft so if i slap something below i might get water intrusion so not sure yet. If the wind blows the old reflector assembly will turn in the wind currently.

I thought the reflector bowl was to mimic the GCA

you might know more about the stuff than I do since you are using industry terms. My idea was to have a small beacon type light on top of the old reflector. Either flashing at 0 or just being on permanently. Kinda like a lighthouse without the rotating light since it would draw more attention than needed already.

3 of us are ultra close to Peters Mill also in case something should happen and need repairs on the fly.

Also; had shared with just Adam but Wiha Tools are 50% off:

Yep it all depends on just how detailed you want to be I guess. If I remember correctly ( I haven’t been a controller since 1988) lighting for a civillian airfield is also a split white then green also. Neat project is it for eco planes or something or just something you wanted to build?

Just wanted to build it as it goes with my love for aviation; wanna help me come up with a stealth bomber design? Either B52 or F117 based on this:

Can anyone provide some insight on if there is a fuse that has a 12V supply when the back up lights/ camera is on? I’m installing a switch pro and want to put a trigger in so my rear lights come on when in reverse.

I tried the “10A BKUP LP” fuse on the left side of the steering wheel fuse box, but my voltmeter isn’t reading anything, even in reserve and with the headlights on/off.

Tried to do some research on it but shits confusing... In VA, does the exhaust have to go past the rear axle?

Per 19VAC30-70-300: Muffler, Exhaust System and Trailer Venting, my understanding is it only has to extend past the cab. Below are the sections that follow “inspect for and reject if...”

A bunch of us just tapped into the rear lights themselves. Your backup light amperage is most likely low enough that you don't need a separate circuit

If its enclosed it has to go all the way out or wont pass inspection. Thats why i rerouted mine because i have a cap. If the back is open i've heard its 2 feet past the cab.

Easiest way to tap into it? Through the taillights themselves?
