So install complete. URD lightweight flywheel, Spec stage 3+, and CM hydro TOB. The clutch petal feels amazing. Its lighter than stock, but engages and disengages smoothly and evenly throughout the entire throw. No more notchy feeling when the old fork would disengage. The clutch needs to be broken in for at least 500 miles per the instructions, and it has some chatter in first gear because of how new it is, and how light everything is now. When the clutch does grab its solid. Like its SOLID. Hardest part was man handling the tranny in and out from under the truck without a lift.

I got the trans in last week but still need to get the driveshafts and exhaust in. After the header struggle I was like fuck it and took the week off lol.

Probably gonna try to get retarded cam gears and NST pulleys installed this weekend.

 

I was surprised at how light the peddle was with an excedy 2+. Definetly a good product without knowing its longevity. I would be surprised if the chatter lessens though. Most performance clutches i've had chatter at least a bit. Part of the game

 

Dude, everything you do after installing headers is easy. Headers install are the devil.

Exedy clutches are excellent. Quality of materials and workmanship is top notch. I would recommend it for performance purposes and even daily driver duties any day over other brand clutches as long as they are available for the application.

Mate it to something like a Fidanza lightweight flywheel and run NSTs lightweight pulleys all around and you'd be revving to the moon with the setup.

 

Their customer service is even better then their clutches.

 

From everything the internet says about clutches and lightweight flywheels, the chatter should get much more manageable as the miles roll by. A product of learning the new clutch and wearing all the new spinning parts together.
