I'll buy the truck in the pictures for $2,200 cash right now! It would make an excellent winter beater to keep my RC in good shape!

at 22k he needed to do a better job on the repair. its one thing if it was bought for the seller to drive around town and deal with his own work but to sell it with with that level of repair is not something you should do.

When you can see the mistakes right in the finish you know the work is bad.

I tend to phrase things like this: If/when this truck ever meets its next collision, what price am I willing to pay to risk the loss of my own legs?

    :bananadead::bananadead::bananadead: ... happy friday, y'all.

    Lots, straight from the factory.

I’d prefer the Coronavirus over that truck. If I had to choose one...

Nope. I might go 10k and use it to beat the hell out of. No way at the asking price.

FFFFFF no. At minimum they should have replaced core support, instead, it look like they wrapped a chain around it and attached it to a tree to pull it back out. Sub par work at best

    OME and worth every penny.
Look at wrecks on Auction sites now. You can't touch one for a few thousand and I wouldn't be surprised if the seller had to pay close to 20 for the wreck, not even knowing if the engine ran. (Insurance wants their money back)

It's USED to be a cheap way to get a vehicle to drive to the ground but face it, inspections are worthless at inspection. Texas goes from salvage to rebuilt with a tax payment.

All I drive are salvaged Toyota trucks. I do the work myself, so I know the repairs.

2nd, you do know it's difficult to get a loan for a salvaged truck and insurance can be a headache. You can fully cover the vehicle, but the IC will only pay out half the value if you wreck it. Things to think about.

I have no fear of salvage vehicles, but I have to do the work. I won't buy a fixed salvage vehicle.

Hell no, There are good deals on the 3rd gens out there. They aren't as good in the resell department as people tend to think. Many for sale in the Low $20k's for an sr5 4x4.

Im not against Salvage titles as much as most people seem to be, and I still find it expensive. Maybe at 15k, but not 22k. You're better off buying a non-salvage SR5 with low miles for ~25k IMO.

I'm definitely in the minority here, but I say NO. Even if you don't take my advice, before you buy it, you need to put it on an alignment machine. If the frame is bent, that is how you will tell.

Go for it!! Start a YouTube Channel!!' Make $$$ !!! It's easy peasy!!! Don't listen to all the Debbie Downers!! Remember:

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

    Theodore Roosevelt

    Do it!!!!
